Still has the most satisfying and vindicating win ever with that submission of holm. Shit made me cry, she had such a crazy career and put it all on the line every time for every fight and finally got that elusive UFC championship with pure heart and the refusal to give up or let go of that neck. imagine having Jorge Masvidal on and talking fights but ALSO talking about the Cuban foods and flavours he grew up with. Who cooked for him growing up? Was it his grandmothers cooking on holidays or his mother’s after school soup with tortilla that had him running home? What food makes Calvin Kattar feel at home? What smells and spices bring what emotions out of Meisha Tate? Look how passionate she got about saying American food is the best.... why not make it about that and the fighters heritage and their flavour and what they eat in and out of camp?
It’s just so thoughtless and half-assed and a wasted opportunity to make a great show, all so that Schaub can eat and set his “friends” up for clicks and to sell us more ads ... eps aren’t even an hour long.... YOURE SITTING DOWN AND ENJOYING A MEAL WITH SOMEONE??!!
