Absolutely thrilled to be featured by you! :D I've watched loads of your video's and streams over the years, and you really helped me learn the game back when I started out all those years ago (gosh It's been so long). So I'm happy to share this one with you! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. As you suspected, I am indeed using the Rammer, Vents and Turbo (all standard) loadout as I love playing with the Strv 103B as if it's a medium. My camo on the move is 31,22% Since I do have a full camo crew with BiA. As for field mods, I only have the first one which only gives me the option of a secondary consumable loadout :(. Anyway, that's all from me. Have a good day :)
With regards to the "insane camo" on the shots on the JgPz, I do believe it was not because of his camo rating but because of the points on your vehicle from which you can spot your enemies. A few years ago wargaming released a video on their channel about spotting mechanics and highlighted that there are a few points on your vehicle which can be spotted by enemies, but only two spots through which you can spot enemies. These two spots are, directly in the middle of the top of your tank(if you were to encase your tank in an imaginary box, excluding the protrusion of the main gun), and your gun mantlet. If you rewatch the clip where he shoots the JgPz, it is clearly evident that these two points on the JgPz's vehicle were behind the building at Xethrus' time of fire, possibly explaining how Xethrus remained undetected while firing upon the JgPz. I may be wrong and wargaming may have changed the spotting mechanics since all those years ago when they released the video, but I just thought I'd share my thoughts on the "mystery" of how he wasn't spotted at the end there.
Since I'm not nearly as good as I want to be, my favorite parts of playing the 103b aren't these dream defense scenarios, but the miracle bounces that you somehow achieve. nothing is more satisfying than bouncing a jageroo, grille, or sconq by pure accident.

The real reason that the Jpz E100 didn't spot him is because the vision ports are on his gun mantlet, which was obstructed by the building in the cap. Allowing Xethrus to shoot without any possibility of being spotted because that's how spotting in WoT works.
@@justasimplegamer129 yes, i'm not a good player (800 WN8 lmao i created this account when i was 8 years old) but i manage to see that the view ports are indeed need to be clear to detect the ennemy when i was using E5
I’ve seen this replay already from one of the replay channels. It is a whole lot better with QBs commentary. Also I was shocked as to why the Strv was not spotted by the capping JGPZ E100 being that close. Still a nice game
I think it has to do with the vision of the tanks coming from the Cupolas and gun sights. With the JGPZ being tucked next to the building with the cupola on the left side of the tank it limited its field of view. Truly a master level play by Xethrus
What happened there is the JP E100's positioning meant he didn't have line of sight on the Strv. His gun sight was completely blocked by the house. And the JP E100 has a very short cupola that's on the left side of the tank, so sometimes short tanks like the Strv can be underneath its line of sight when attacking from the right side.
There are two vierange nodes one at tip of the gun mantles. Ie the farther forward point of the turret and one directly centered at the highest point of the vehicle model . The JPs mantlet view node was blocked and so was the roof view node .
First JGPZ E100 threw the match using HE rounds. That's not the tank you use HE rounds on, that's for the shitbarn, the JGPZ E100 is all about the penetration.
@@Preaplanes Sure, except that it's amazing how often you get AP bounces with the JpzE100, even against targets that really shouldn't bounce it. With the old HE, Jpz100 was often much more easy to get "reliable dmg" from with HE than with AP. With new HE, not sure if it's still true but it's rarely a truly BAD idea to load HE with it. Of course, there's always the possibility that the player had an uneven or HE-focused ammoload and was simply out of AP.
Strv 103 B: Sniping is a good job mate, is challenging work, out of doors I'll guarantee your not go hungry cause in the end of the day as long as 2 tanks on the planet someone is gonna want someone dead

Now the exhaust works while stationary, it's my go to module for TDs. Helps massively with the Grille line, and allows you to move about with a lot of freedom. It'd actually make a lot of sense on this tank, especially with the turbo on there.
So with a turbo for mobility and bounty exhaust for camo across the board, you kinda make it limp along in all other areas than what you make your final equipment. Bond rammer makes the DPM obscene but bond vents will make *everything* better...
@@JoshRiolu As for the 103, and TDs in general, Vents are far from optimal. They aren't mediums or heavies, that need to perform multiple roles and tasks. Due to their more specific nature, it's better to improve the specialist characteristics of the tank and it's role. I agree on rammer, that's essential for any TD, but beyond that you can take pretty much whatever you like. Exhaust, turbo and Rammer would work superbly on the 103 with this playstyle. Mobile and stealthy to allow quick, concealed repositioning, with amazing DPM to back it up.
Just an FYI: You can tell when a tank is equipped with a turbocharger, it makes a wheezy "wreeeeeeehhh" noise when you accelerate, almost the same sound the EBR makes when it slows down, it's a noticeable difference in the engine noises and I'm glad they included it
I also play my 103b like this. I feel like the camo is so good with this tank that you can still get two shots in against the enemy because you will be in siegemode and the enemy will be driving and will have less effective camo most of the time.
Even though I quit WoT for good back in June (I'm a Console player) I really miss having phenomenal games like these. Two times Xethrus basically should've died: 1st was when one of the Jageroo's (the first one he dealt with) foolishly fired HE instead of AP - surely his battle would've ended there. And 2nd, clearly the Kranvagn at the end was a total glue-sniffer as not only did he fail to recognize that he should've fired HEAT, he only did 480 damage the entire game. Games like this one require bad teammates but an even worse enemy team. And Xethrus sure got them in this match!
As a thorough 103B enjoyer, favorite tank I have ever played, this was very interesting to watch, I do believe it is not the cammo module as I get the same results with enemies barely spotting me. I set my STRV up with bond rammer, bond vents, and an accuracy mod in the firepower slot. My STRV also has my most skilled crew with each member working on thier 7th skill. I call it my railgun.
Turbo, binocs and camo net makes this tank play the best. Rammer is not necessary because the reload speed is already very high and it only gains you maybe 80dpm. Maxing the camo out is what this tank is designed for. Not as invisible as the UDES03, but pretty close.
The reason he wasn't spotted by the Jpz E100 at the end was because only the rear of the tank was exposed from behind building.....there was no line of sight from Strv to either of the Jpz E100's viewports (centre on top of turret\superstucture and point where gun meets gun mantle).
My best performing tank is actually the Strv S1, and I'm just about to unlock the 103B from the 103-0 - I prefer to use the low noise exhaust though rather than the gun rammer, this way I'm basically completely invisible. I'd highly recommend trying this!
