I completely forgot to make a video today so this is a quick one I did last minute. 😬 It’s a negative space swipe with a faux pillow and some scoops and drags (if you can call them that because I totally chicken out when I do them). I hope you’re having an excellent day! 💙

COLORS:
Amsterdam - Copper (cell activator)
Tri-Art Liquid - Payne’s Grey
Tri-Art Liquid - Quiller Violet
MEEDEN - Metallic Cerulean Blue
MEEDEN - Metallic Purple
This Little Piggy - Zeus
PILLOW PAINT - PPG Multi-Pro Interior Eggshell White (47-3110)
POUR MEDIUM - 35 grams BEHR 3300 + 70 grams Polyurethane Triple Thick Water Based Semi-Gloss
*Tube Paints - add a small amount of paint to PM until you get desired color. To thin use JoSonja Gloss Varnish mixed with water (3:1 ratio).
*Pigments - disperse in JoSonja Gloss Varnish then add small amounts of PM at a time and mix. Use BEHR 3300 to thicken, if needed

August, this is gorgeous!!! You’ve inspired me to try this. I’m a big fan of negative space (as well as paynes gray backgrounds) and I think this may be why I’m struggling a bit with the traditional bloom, maybe it’s too busy for me. ❤

Sometimes it will crack if you leave too much paint on. Conversely, it can also crack if there isn’t enough paint 😂 Luckily most have been drying ok

Very well done! I love the negative space and I LOVE copper CA. Your scoop and drags are fine. Sometimes I think the paint looks too stretched out when they are done with too much paint. Your colours are great. How do you like those Meeden paints, I always see them on Amazon next to the Arteza but they are much better priced. Do they compare at all with Arteza?
I actually just got the Meeden in a little sampler pack and have been playing with them before I give a full review. So far they’ve worked well! I’m using probably a dollop more than Arteza or Amsterdam to get the color (I think they’re a little less pigmented), but overall I like them. I have a 10% discount code in the description if you try them out.
