- Together with my friend @Mash Is Free we walked 60KM from North to South Bali. It is safe to say this was one big EPIC ADVENTURE. During this walk we faced many challenges. We had to face Bali's central mountains which include several peaks over 2,000 metres in elevation, the high rainfall in the northern parts of the island and the insane heat and cold weather.
Many people told me I was crazy and that it would be an impossible thing to do. But I still packed my bags, found someone crazy enough to join me and traveled to the north side of Bali. Because

Wauw. Wat een prachtfimpje. Adembenemende waterval en daarna een zware wandeling die ons prachtbeelden laat zien van het authentieke Bali. Hoe de mensen leven, hun mooie winkeltjes en zaakjes, kapper, cafeetje, etc. En dat allemaal in een paradijselijke omgeving. Ik heb alweer genoten tot de laatste minuut! Dankjewel Susanne! ❤️😘❤️

Your adv remind me of my young age. Climbed the mountains, valleys and rivers around java and sometimes the weather was unpredictable, run out of money, no cell phone..it's early 90's btw 😁skipping school a lot, annoyed parents and teachers..ups..sorry. but my biggest fear was leeches..for sure and the rains. But freezing has sensation feeling that you wanna get the trip done and go back home to my cozy and warm bed with hot drink.

Seven years ago i took a Switzerland friend to sekumpul waterfall and we"ve been to Bedugul on the way back to Legian.
(the same exactly road and weather). We cruishing with bike instead of walking but her first plan was to walk just like you guys did.
I worked for Bali tourism back in the day and i know exactly how hard it is to walk there and i don't think i can do it.
Respect to both of you for all the effort to make this awesome vid.
The way Susan explained the street foods in her other Singaraja video and took any details about what happened on the way is how the pro does the job. Spent little time playing with the poppies is the smart thing she did to get more engagement to this video. "Who can resist that... Everybody love poppies and want one".
This vid took me to my previous years and bring back all the good time so thanks heaps.

You should avoid stepping rocks thats S muddy everywhere around them... Mois mountain area always seems so...be carefull bestie ....don't put anything specially the money left along the ground...thats might be a magical trap, specially according javenese and balinese Faith....bestie😁

I was very excited to watch this vlog because sekumpul waterfall. Soo epic. Giriwood is also so awesome. Last time when I would came to visit I was in hurry and my driver got wrong direction using google maps. Next time this will be my must-see itenerary.
