One of my few regrets in life, is not saying something to Dorian Yates when i was touristing at Gold's Gym Venice. I was totally into the preacher cablecurl machine, and felt someones presence, i finished my set, i turn my head and behind, on a bench sat Dorian Yates... I was shy at the time, more introvert than now, so i didn't say hi or anything. I whish i could take the moment back, and say something. 😀
Take a trip out to Marbella, he’s always hanging about out there - he runs a gym and is there most days. He’s an absolute legend, ran into him on the beach one day and he was dead on, grabbed a picture and had a chat with him for a while. Pleasure to meet him

I seen dorian approx 19 years ago in Heathrow Airport I sat next to him not knowing who he was. Just a big massive dude! I was in Heathrow flying home to Scotland while serving in the Royal Navy

I admire Dorian’s dimeanor. He’s the personification of confident but not cocky. There’s no arrogance in his certainty. It’s all driven by what he knows as fact, and that’s through his trial and error. He knows because he’s done it. It’s borderline wisdom but, mixed with this anylitcally driven outlook on life and it’s tribulations.

I think some podcasters should practice letting their guests speak before interjecting with a question. Nothing wrong with keeping a mental note of your point and wait for an opportunity to speak. Brian seems to know how to do this, Laurence could do with practicing it a bit more.

I vividly remember having the Flex magazines and seeing that black & white photoshoot with Dorian (in his socks). He is a genetic god and a workout monster. Hugely inteligent and an great motivation to be the best (or even just to be better). Especially with him being British as well. I also remember watching the LondonReal with Dorian and always wondered why they never continued. Now I know why. Your series goes from strength to strength and gets better and better. It doesn't matter what podcast, platform Dorian is on I could listen to him all day, I've heard his story more than once but you can not stop listening, the guy is amazing. The fact that he mopped the floor with in my opinion the best era in bodybuilding ever is unreal.
Ever since I watched that first video of Dorian on London real, it completely shattered my stereotype of how a bodybuilder thinks. Everything he says resonates with me and aligns with my own life path. Since I become 'conscious' back in 2004 after a book I read by David Icke, my whole reality and the way I perceive things hasn't been the same. I question myself, my sense of reality, the world around me, the nature of reality and who we are. People may think I'm crazy...who cares what people think, right? The world is crazy as it is. My point in this comment is always have an open mind with so called 'far fetched' topics, question your own existence and reality, follow your own intuition, use your own intellect and think for yourself. Love you Dorian for being genuine, authentic and speaking your truth!

I'm not a huge fan of podcasts, but I have to say this is the *greatest* podcast I have listened to. Top notch stuff! I knew Dorian was intelligent but man, near the end, he really gets into it. Total respect, a lot of people don't know that stuff.
How many young teenagers did Dorian Yates influence from the 90’s onwards. No bodybuilder has had an impact on me more than Dorian. Not even Arnold. Whenever he spoke it was always logic and when I followed his principles is when I began to grow
Wow what an interview, I'd seen little snippets what people had took from different interviews with Dorian and when I seen this for over 2 hours, I thought brilliant. So many different topics, what a brilliant man and thanks to you lads for this video. I know I'm 2 year late to the show but fantastic.
Never been into body building and only currently like an hour an half in and it’s really interesting hearing about how it steered his path a different direction. From a young kid getting into trouble. Resonates with me being from up the north east. It’s like your something or your nothing there’s not really an in between. Really motivational as well the calmness that he speaks with.
A guy isolated in U.K. troubled teen , no college, becomes #1 in the world! Also transformed training methods. Genius pure and simple probably the most honest and well spoken. Ty Champ!
I remember watching Dorian on London real when I was about 20-21 and was learning about everything going on, the conscious shift in some people and to be honest for some reason at the time in thought he was jumping on a bandwagon, but now I'm more awake, he's genuinely an inspiration and one of the most worthwhile people to listen to.
Yates was the pinnacle of bodybuilding when I was growing up. I had his posters on the wall back when I thought I could get that big from drinking two eggs a day and pushing up 💯 on the Megaflex.

I wouldn't just argue for that, nor would I rule it completely out either - I think that it would be fair to say that cannabis has a lot more health benefits than we are led to believe. Such research is of no interest to pharmaceutical companies at this time though as you can grow it under your stairs.

It’s so crazy that I have lived the exact experience as Dorian. My father dying at very young. Mother not there. Out off home young and in detention centres for all my growing up. It’s been a difficult life but bodybuilding has changed everything for me. I’m 22 now so it’s good that I have been thru a lot at a young age.
When I was a kid I saw Dorian at an airport in 1994, Dorian walked past and my Dad nudged me and said "That's Dorian Yates" I had no idea a human being could be that big before then. Huge doesn't even describe it, Brian's statement about Dorian walking in and five minutes later his back did is absolutely correct, he was just big, wide and broad.

It is my very first time watching this podcast with you guys and I most say that the host (The big man) is kind of cool to see how he legitimately seems like he is in such an awe and admiration because one of his biggest idols is right across the table. I think some podcasters should practice letting their guests speak before interjecting with a question. Nothing wrong with keeping a mental note of your point and wait for an opportunity to speak. Brian seems to know how to do this, Laurence could do with practicing it a bit more.

I vividly remember having the Flex magazines and seeing that black & white photoshoot with Dorian (in his socks). He is a genetic god and a workout monster. Hugely inteligent and an great motivation to be the best (or even just to be better). Especially with him being British as well. I also remember watching the LondonReal with Dorian and always wondered why they never continued. Now I know why. Your series goes from strength to strength and gets better and better. Thank you to you all and everyone involved in making these. Truly amazing, inspirational and thought provoking. Thank you.

It doesn't matter what podcast, platform Dorian is on I could listen to him all day, I've heard his story more than once but you can not stop listening, the guy is amazing. The fact that he mopped the floor with in my opinion the best era in bodybuilding ever is unreal.
Dorian = Legend. Listening to him talk about Covid, the guy is on the ball.
Ever since I watched that first video of Dorian on London real, it completely shattered my stereotype of how a bodybuilder thinks.
Everything he says resonates with me and aligns with my own life path. Since I become 'conscious' back in 2004 after a book I read by David Icke, my whole reality and the way I perceive things hasn't been the same. I question myself, my sense of reality, the world around me, the nature of reality and who we are. People may think I'm crazy...who cares what people think, right? The world is crazy as it is.
My point in this comment is always have an open mind with so called 'far fetched' topics, question your own existence and reality, follow your own intuition, use your own intellect and think for yourself.
Love you Dorian for being genuine, authentic and speaking your truth!

I'm not a huge fan of podcasts, but I have to say this is the *greatest* podcast I have listened to. Top notch stuff! I knew Dorian was intelligent but man, near the end, he really gets into it. Total respect, a lot of people don't know that stuff.
How many young teenagers did Dorian Yates influence from the 90’s onwards. No bodybuilder has had an impact on me more than Dorian. Not even Arnold. Whenever he spoke it was always logic and when I followed his principles is when I began to grow

Wow what an interview, I'd seen little snippets what people had took from different interviews with Dorian and when I seen this for over 2 hours, I thought brilliant. So many different topics, what a brilliant man and thanks to you lads for this video. I know I'm 2 year late to the show but fantastic.
Never been into body building and only currently like an hour an half in and it’s really interesting hearing about how it steered his path a different direction. From a young kid getting into trouble. Resonates with me being from up the north east. It’s like your something or your nothing there’s not really an in between. Really motivational as well the calmness that he speaks with.

I remember watching Dorian on London real when I was about 20-21 and was learning about everything going on, the conscious shift in some people and to be honest for some reason at the time in thought he was jumping on a bandwagon, but now I'm more awake, he's genuinely an inspiration and one of the most worthwhile people to listen to.
Yates was the pinnacle of bodybuilding when I was growing up. I had his posters on the wall back when I thought I could get that big from drinking two eggs a day and pushing up 💯 on the Megaflex.

I wouldn't just argue for that, nor would I rule it completely out either - I think that it would be fair to say that cannabis has a lot more health benefits than we are led to believe. Such research is of no interest to pharmaceutical companies at this time though as you can grow it under your stairs.

It’s so crazy that I have lived the exact experience as Dorian. My father dying at very young. Mother not there. Out off home young and in detention centres for all my growing up. It’s been a difficult life but bodybuilding has changed everything for me. I’m 22 now so it’s good that I have been thru a lot at a young age.
When I was a kid I saw Dorian at an airport in 1994, Dorian walked past and my Dad nudged me and said "That's Dorian Yates" I had no idea a human being could be that big before then.
Huge doesn't even describe it, Brian's statement about Dorian walking in and five minutes later his back did is absolutely correct, he was just big, wide and broad.
I feel wiser for a week after I watch a new Dorian Yates. When the man speaks, you listen.
Had my awakening and ascension in November/December, so refreshing to hear Dorian talk about things how I now see them too, great podcast gents 👏

It is my very first time watching this podcast with you guys and I most say that the host (The big man) is kind of cool to see how he legitimately seems like he is in such an awe and admiration because one of his biggest idols is right across the table. I’m only at the @24:49 at this point and so far so good.
