    Very excellent work on the P-51 D Mustang.
    I see that it's more accurate one. I also have that one model kit waiting to be assembled as well.
    Few years ago I did a P-51 D in same scale as well. Only differences were that this P-51 D was from Revell, and I have used a decals of the Yugoslav air force as well.
    If you are interested in seeing the Yugoslav P-51 D, you can watch it on my channel as well (didn't make a video of it, but I did show in some of the videos the decals as well).

    Is it possible to build the model “in flight?” The instructions say you can attach the wing flaps so that they’re flat but they don’t explain how and they don’t seem to fit that way

    • @scalestuff1066
      @scalestuff1066  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think so,I had the flaps on dry fitted for a time in flight mode,they on back to front and upside down? As I had trouble working out top from bottom

      @@scalestuff1066 turns out there are two separate wing flaps for the flight position, but I’d already modded the pieces to fit, and they look fine.

    hey sir im thinking of buying this kit would you recommend it for a beginner who has never built a model plane from air fix ??

    • @scalestuff1066
      @scalestuff1066  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The build parts very easy but the decals in this kit are quite tricky

      @@scalestuff1066 hmm so would you recommend ??

    • @scalestuff1066
      @scalestuff1066  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think for a first kit try something else if im honest, its not hard hard, but a little tricky to line them up, once you have done a couple of kits would be good to give this a go though, but Id say do a simplier one first

      @@scalestuff1066 But that's the prob I don't have enough money to buy the spitfire model as the p51 is a bit less expensive and I'm a kid

      @scalestuff1066  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh mean if that's the case then go for it,just leave the yellow and red markings off the model if you find them tricky,it will still be a p51 so go for it,hope that helps
