I ett nära och personligt samtal berättar Elaf Ali om sin livshistoria. Hon är i grunden journalist och debuterade nyligen med boken "Vem har sagt något om kärlek?" som handlar om att bryta sig fri från hedersförtryck. I "Mötet" berättar Elaf hur ett hedersstyrt liv kan se ut i Sverige, vilka förhållningsregler och förbud som gäller, men även om modet och styrkan som krävs för att bryta sig fri.

Some women in middle east are westernized but not modernized, they dont know how to balanced religion with modernity since they have been raised in a culture that values traditional gender roles and conservative beliefs. These women come from low class particulary peasent and uneducated background usually have no understand of their religion, and relay on irrational beliefs and superstitions to make decisions in their daily lives. This can lead to harmful practices such as child marriage, female genital mutilation, and honor killings. Education can make people leave outdated beliefs and be sane individuals. Its also important that they work on their confidence, self esteem and stop begin a western wannabee. Some women are brainwashed by radical feminism and think to begin sexually active is empowering and glorifies promiscuity. It's important that women have some self-respect and stop seeing themselves as sex objects and "empower" themselves through education, career development, and pursuing their passions and interests outside their sexuality. What separates animals from humans is modesty, and research has proven that hypersexuality is linked to low self-esteem, mental illnesses such as depression, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar and trauma. It's pathetic to think your animalistic" behavior is something to be proud of, when in reality it may be a sign of deeper psychological issues that need to be addressed. Seeking help and working on improving oneself is a more admirable and productive path toward true self-confidence and fulfillment. Its getting old, people use their sad stories for money and publicity. Im sick and tired of hearing stories about honor killings, it can easily be stopped through fixing unequal education system, education and awareness campaigns. If you want to create sane and democratic society you need to end the marxist bullshit and be more pragmatic. People are unhappy and they act cruel and committ honor killings and other crimes, its survival coping mechanism, and the only way to fix it is by focusing on education and creating opportunities for individuals to improve their lives.
