Hi Ethan, so I don't have any tabs. I tell people they can watch the video at slower speeds and I try to do a good job of showing the fretboard. If i can get some time in the future I'll try to make make tabs for these songs. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Yeah for sure. I am running into a Line 6 Helix and the patch is a little bit of compression > Princess amp and cab > Tube Screamer light drive > little delay > little verb > into Logic Pro > and Waves CLA Guitars plugin default setting at the end of it. Hope that helps!
Hey thank you. Yeah basically I am singing the song with the guitar, so I just practice while listening to it and try to pick out the notes until you start to figure it out. Sometimes I listen to the song on slower speeds on TH-cam which helps hear the notes clearer too. And yeah definitely start with what the key of the song is in as a map. And then the tone of the guitar is important too, have a little bit of grit and delay on it so it sings more but not too much distortion or too clean. Hope that helps
@@Sapocati So the song chord progression changes around quite a bit but the main riff is Bbm to F#. I don't think this does the traditional 2-5-1. And the Eb in this case is the major tonic so it wouldn't be a dominant 7th. But yeah the main feel of the song is a Bb minor feel with that main progression being Bbm to F#. If you solo in Bbm it will give you the notes of the vocal melody. Hope that helps
FSharp is a minor third away from Eb (therefore Eb should be minor) That fact has really confused me I be honest with you. But what you play sure sounds good that is the most important thing.@@richardgaliguis
@@Sapocati So in comparison to the major scale I believe the Ebm would be the 6th and then it would go down a 3rd yup to F# which would be the 4th. It's a classic movement used in lots of music and never gets old! Thank you man I really appreciate that. I haven't filmed in about a year but gonna start making videos again this month and there's more usher in the line up. I appreciate you reaching out man and keep playing as well!
So Eb is the 'Dorian' (minor with a major 6th phew I wish I could say more but youtube really breaks my balls using it on alaptop... you can't imagine the effort and time it took to reply but you deserved my time @@richardgaliguis
I like to thank the author of this, and at the same time complain to youtube and warn against Chat GPT. Firstly if I were jamming to this without trying to play it note for note... I would jam between Bflat Minor 6th aka 'Gypsy scale' or the scale used in traditional R&B music from wayback in 'Nawleens times', to the Fminor with a flat nine, now that would give it a distinct latin feel if you jam it that way... But as Richard correctly points out it is actually 6 to 4 as opposed to how I would jam it 6 to 3 (Fania Allstars style baby)... In classical musical notation the 'key' would be written as being Csharp, or Dflat, not sure (same notes but there is a difference, wont go into the here). Richard saying it was in key of Eflat major made me lose all my self confidence for a moment... I was one hour staring at my fretboard all confused.... Not his fault I make mistakes all the time, I got issues trust me.. But be warned Chat GPT makes mistakes like that all the time.. So do not vouch for that Artificial Idiot Machine.. We can have the power of self awareness Chat GPT cannot. Furthermore TH-cam made it almost impossible to answer Richard using a laptop... My determination caused washing to get ruined, missed an important call, and had to eat late... I hate you TH-cam, utterly traumatised me.. Without contributers like this guy all you would have is terrorism to show for your satanic instincts... OK I have vented... My balls nearly fell off last night cheers.

@@richardgaliguis no problem 😁
What kind of amp do you use
I used to play out of a Fender Red Knob Evil Twin but for these videos I am using either my line 6 Helix or Neural DSP plugins for the guitar tone
Mind sharing your tone settings? I’m always curious what people program in

@@richardgaliguis Very nice setup, btw! Appreciate your time!
that was really good man, how do you even go about making the guitar sound like its singing the lyrics lol? do you just play around the key scale?

Nice! Hey, what key and scale is it on?
Thanks! This is in the key of Bb minor, which is also the Bb minor scale. Or Eb Major (same scale) however you want to look at it. Hope that helps
