I love your work! I just came across your channel about a day and a half ago while watching TH-cam, and I have been watching ever since!😊 I. have been trying my hand on a few projects with the Tumbling Tower blocks, working with my little granddaughter.! This, however would be taking it to another level!😊 I am so excited to give your beautiful pieces a try. I am 78 and have only been trying a little crafting for about 5 years or so, and I love it. I can't wait to show your work to my . granddaughter! I have definitely subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your creativity! Thank you soo much for sharing your skill and talent with us. Hope my comment wasn"t too long. Just an inspired old lady!😊 Blessings and peace in Jesus name...
Hi Barbara, a message is never too long and I appreciate that you took the time to comment. I always have time to chat with a fellow crafter ❤️. Welcome to my channel and if you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'd be happy to help ☺️❤️😘. Have a fantastic week Barbara 👏😃
@@thecraftyshopper4007 have them done except for scarf n hats gunna go tomorrow and see if I can find something to use in making 2 more of each I'm putting eyelashes on them....😁
@@thecraftyshopper4007 It’s okay, you are worth the wait! Just keep them coming , you always have great ideas! I grabbed some Fourth of July hats when DT had them, I think there were 2 in a package, I knew they would come in use for snowmen, all I’ll have to do is paint them black! I’ve also been grabbing the hat ornaments when they come out as well! Also , our DT is not selling the carpenter square’s anymore, I’ve looked at several stores and know one has them!
Are the penguin's arms also made of craft foam, I didn't see you make them. Can wait to make this for my son for Christmas. Thanks for all your great ideas!
I just checked back on the video, not sure why it didn't upload with the rest of the video 🫣!! I used felt on plastic cutting board from DT to give it hold that the felt didn't flop over. Sorry about that ! If you reach out on my The Crafty Shopper page, I can send you the little video for that part.
Awesome Veta. For some reason that segment didn't upload. I did post it on my page on FB. I just used a plastic DT plastic cutting board, cut 2 wings/flippers out, then I glued black felt on both sides of the plastic. Between the felt, you may see a bit of the plastic, just touch it up with abit of black paint.
Hi Debbie, I’m in the process of making this snowman and I can’t seem to get my blocks level. Is there a trick to gluing* them together? I’m using the dollar tree carpenters level and still having problems. Can you share your secret with me. Don’t mind snowman rocking to music but this is not fun. Do you use clamps to hold them together. I’m new so I appreciate any help you can give me. I love all your crafts. Thanks in advance. Patricia
Hi Patricia, when using the carpenter ruler, glue layers first , and leave a few hours to dry. What glue are you using ? I don't use clamps at all. I'm more of a visual person, you can send me pictures via my The Crafty Shopper, FB page or Instagram.
Sorry as I just explained to another crafter, that I'm not sure why that part of the segment didn't up load . I do have it and you can message me on my The Crafty Shopper page, on FB or Instagram. I just used felt glued onto plastic cutting boards from DT.
Hi Sheila, unfortunately, that video segment didn't upload to YT, but I do have it on my FB page, The Crafty Shopper. I just used DT plastic chopping board, I cut out a shape of a flipper. On both sides of the (plastic) flipper I just glued on black felt. You could also use black foam paper, the thicker one to make the flipper aswell.
Hey lady, hope all is well! Just getting around to doing the Penguin and for the life of me I can't get the dimensions of the arms right. Any chance you remember what they were? The video is missing that step. 😪
Not sure why you it didn't upload. The part that didn't upload is on my FB page, under this craft in the comments. I used plastic cut board from DT, cut into flippers, then glued felt on both sides.

I’m using Super Glue Wood Glue. I’ll try the layers and see how it goes. Thank you.
