Thanks for this video! I was wondering if you have been running the primary chain conversion for a while and if it's holding up well? I've heard mixed things about if it's worth it because the sprockets wearing out and chains stretching but maybe that's just on the 219 conversions which seem a little weak if you ride hard. I will be spending a lot of time on gnarly off-road trails so I am trying to decide if I should buy an extra belt to have on hand or if I should just do the conversion if I can find the 420 kits in stock anywhere.
I would go with the thicker 420! Some people I know have been running it for over 3 years in the hard trails. Been holding up just fine👍never had any propblems

Having to cut the new rear tyre is honestly such fuckery. I got a youth version which runs double 17's and only found 2 brands that have good thread that will go onto it would like to see an alternative to having to cut a new rear
Not sure. Look on eBay you might be able to find a few that’s selling around $120. above msrp but if your willing to pay that price. That’s what I did haha
@@northsandiegorc4248 no mines tight and still gouging. But changed back to belt and found out the first run of the covers was cut for belt drive and later version was machined for chain drive
Nice Video! But is a small wheel and such a huge sproket still drivable? I have a 56t sproket and the stock wheel. I allready think the torque is allright, and im getting max. 40mph. Whats your topspeed?
yup it is! stock rim is 19 in diameter mine is 18in so just one inch smaller overall. however I have really knobby dunlop tires which I think add a little to the overall diameter. My max speed was around 36mph on the stock display
64 tooth is great for trail riding . Had a 58 tooth stock bike was gps 38 mph . Then only change was 72 volt battery and bac 8000 controller 73 mph is top speed with 58 tooth . Currently have a 64 tooth and top speed is in the 60’s mph . Top speed all depends how much power your runing . How aggressive your tune is

Haha yeah right, you still have a weak skid plate, a rear tire size that no one makes (80/100-19) only cst makes that tire, a gear box that you have to regularly change and a higher seat with lower bars and not enough rake in the front end lol

Still very sceptic about people cutting of side knobs on the rear tyre. Just get a narrower one and keep the side grip!

Does your prickly front sprocket cover rubs against the cover cause mines the chain cutting a grove on the lower part

Little more grabby and stronger. Also less brake fade when hot. If you can’t afford the saints I would stick with the stock ones👍
