Yes, if you get to a lock-out state you can theoretically stay there for a minute or two and rest that way, but that's trivial compared to the extra expenditure in actually using your triceps to squeeze out the last third of that rep - 10, 15, 20 times.
Do some ninja warrior stuff, see how you fare on that. There's not really a test maybe, but perhaps you can get some set up going. Would be very cool to see.

I think that would be his best ovr position
Proof that being super strong doesn't make you athletic. Being able to go hard in a cross fit gym doesn't make your hand-eye coordination, agility, technique, or footwork any better. Number one reason why dudes that bench 400lbs aren't WRs and get exposed in a simple game of pick up basketball or flag football, etc. Can't play a skilled position/sport if you can't even put your arms all the way down.
For comparison, JJ Watt (who is bigger than both of these guys and an elite NFL athlete) ran a 4.84sec 40yd dash, 20yd shuttle in 4.21sec and the 3 cone in 6.88sec. At 6'5" 295 pounds it's ridiculously impressive and would blow these smaller, lighter guys out of the water. Just goes to show how impressive NFL athletes are.

And I don’t really think the athlete vs fighter comparison really fits in this situation since in a combine you’re not physically going up against an opponent, but there has been athletes who’ve fought professionally. Like Herschel Walker who went 2-0 in Strikeforce.

The bench press depends on position. The lineman are 40-50 reps. Receivers are around 19-20
