People always forget how good pro-players, either on the bench in the NBA or in the G-Leaugue, truly are. It takes alot to be a starter in the NBA. A very small percentage of basketball players at any stage or program make it to that level. I've seen the G-League a number of times and many of these types exist. A number of players we have in the NBA now or in the past were in the G-League.

Decision making, shot making, whether to drive or not, reacting to the defensive positions and set up. The pace of the pro’s is unbelievable. See it on tv and you think you can do it. When I was in law school, we had a basketball league. Mostly students, but the teachers had a team, too. They usually came in last place, but my second year, they got a new teacher, and player, Michael Hall, who was about six foot seven, and had played pro ball (with the Celtics, for a few years, if I remember right). They won the championship that year, and I think Hall was the only guy on the team who actually scored in a game. I had never heard of him before that, but he laid waste to all of us on the court.
