      @@DeltaRogueFishing Any idea where I can find old Zebco parts? I'm looking for their p/n RYY014 1 (bait clicker)

      You might be able to contact zebco directly. www.zebco.com/parts-finder
      If that don't work, I'd just try searching the internet or even antique shops or flea markets in the area. You never know what you'll find in those places.

    I wonder what year that 33 is , its gorgeous. I just purchased the 75th anniversary and it seems to be modeled after that era of 33s.

    I like that old 33, basically the only reel I buy or use, just wish the new ones were as good as the old

    • @DeltaRogueFishing
      @DeltaRogueFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Definitely a good reel to use. It's a shame they don't make them like they used to. With basic maintenance like this, they will be something to pass on through the generations.

    What can I do if the plastic line stop on the front of the line pickup cap goes bad and starts cracking? Sections of the ring on mine have cracked and fallen off. Would an o ring of similar thickness amd diameter glued to the cap face work?

    One thing you might want to add is when you're putting the silver line cover on before putting the final cover back on the front, handle by the outer edge, because I had my hand on the plastic ring on the cover & it broke off on me. Evidently over time the plastic ring gets brittle. I think your video was very helpful though.

    Would that oil and grease that you used on this reel be good for spinning reels and baitcasting reels also? Thanks for the awesome demo btw!

    • @DeltaRogueFishing
      @DeltaRogueFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have another video where I service a spinning reel with the same oil and grease. As long as its not done in excess, it will be fine. I have a baitcasting reel that I need to service next and plan on using the same oil and grease on it too.

    I have a 33 from 1983 and that round, plastic, aged, "orange" piece at 17:07 is shattered to pieces on my reel. Plastic got too old, i guess. Do you know what that round plastic piece is called? Maybe they still have replacement parts.

    • @DeltaRogueFishing
      @DeltaRogueFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not sure what that's called exactly. The research I came across was calling it a spinner head brake, but I think it has to be bought with the spinner head assembly if its still available. I'm not sure if a guy could retrofit a newer assembly on an older reel or not. I hope your able to get it going!
