Haha contrary to the hype, we Aussie don’t see spiders everyday, or week or even year. I saw one tiny spider 6 months ago, never seen any snakes either, I live in Sydney suburb.
Depends on where you live. In Brisbane, many Aussies grow up seeing huge huntsman spiders in their house. Sadly, the more heavily populated the area, the fewer the wildlife.

To be honest, I have seen more than my fair share of possums, blue-tongue lizards, cane toads, and even eastern brown snakes in my backyard. But I am pretty sure Amy is from a relatively well-off neighborhood in Sydney, where such incidents are quite rare.

SANYA (Hainan Island) looks like THE PLACE to go instead of Hawaii which has become too expensive for tourists these days. Besides that, Sanya isn't plagued by volcanoes and lava streams. Those forest skylining and canopy trails look like the absolute beast for environment tourists to visit - and that seafood feast! Wow! Envious eyes and even more envious tummy watching Amy at work. 😁😄😊
i would also assume that its alot more ethical to vacation here instead of hawaii as there are serious problems regarding how the vacation industry has treated the natives there
Honestly no. You might as well go to Thailand / Indonesia / Philippines, Sanya is not that great. The seas and nature are not comparable and prices are also pretty high. Most ppl that have been there would say Thailand is a better choice for a similar / lower budget. I’m Chinese and my bf of 8 years was born in Sanya.
It’s different scenery comparing to Hawaii( I’ve been to both) both can be really fun. My husband and I had a road trip around Hainan island while ago and it was pretty nice. The trick is avoiding all Chinese national holidays and time between Jun and October. Right after October 10th, the price is entirely different, and there’s almost no crowd in any place. We visited in March which is after CNY. The weather is still nice around 25 degrees. Also, try flying to Haikou (the capital) instead of Sanya, and rent a car there, much cheaper and you get to see some other cities like Wenchang (rocket launch center) and Lingshui (famous surfing spot). Hope this helps!

It offers so much fun beyond food alone. Love to see more Australians and more international travelers to visit Sanya. It has built up its infrastructure to be a fun destination, but it’s almost unknown to people outside China

The last time I was in Hainan we did 2 nights in Haikou and another 2 in Sanya. After leaving, I swear to you I avoided coconut for a few months because 90% of what I ate in Hainan had coconut as an ingredient

I proposed to my wife in Zhangjiajie on the gondola trip down the mountain and I was so scared of dropping her ring down the middle of cable care. I have seen so many of your video and love the content. When I watched this video it almost gave me ptsd about the experience. We went over national holiday weekend and as a foreigner I didn’t want to cause any commotion or attention about the proposal and as we lined up to go down the mountain with my parents who were here for the proposal told me go and do it now on the gondola and I was so scared to drop the ring I couldn’t get down on one knee. Just wanted to share my experience and how much our family loves your videos. Keep up the hard work if your every in Macao and want a tour it would be a pleasure to show you a different side of this part of the China.
The seafood looks like a Sanya take on Louisiana Crab Boil. When we went on holiday the food was great but the corn was the star of the show. Cheers for the episode and have a champion day.

visited Hainan back in 2017. Initially, I wasn't even aware of the place 'Hainan' 😂I found out about it through a super cheap tour promotion provided by the Chinese government as part of their 'promotion' to introduce Hainan to the rest of the world. I ended up going, and it cost only about $400 USD for 4 days (including flights, transportation, accommodation, entrance fees, and three meals a day), now that's a deal! been wanting to go back, but as an Indonesian, it's hard to get there since there are no direct flights to Sanya (unless you travel with a consortium tour provided by the Chinese government). There are connecting flights, but they take 9-12 hours just to reach Sanya, which is ridiculous, and they cost WAY more. So, I haven't had the chance to return .. in the meantime, I've been regularly visiting mainland China (once or twice a year) due to the endless destinations and rich culture, i don't think I'll ever get bored of visiting China.

That dragons blood tree is actually really useful for humans! I used to get very sick as a child from a respiratory condition and my Chinese pediatrician gave me a bottle of sap from it (as the name suggests its very red and very thick like blood) and i used to gargled it to disinfect and reduce inflammation in my tonsils and throat ... it works like magic!

Dragon's Blood is actually extremely useful for arthritis! It can keep inflammation down. It's usually called sangre de roja in the States.

对于在海南旅游,我有个建议可以给大家:别住旅游人数特别多的景区比如三亚或者海口。选个海南岛环线上的小城市住,到海南岛的时候就租一辆车自己开,海南岛环线上开开很方便的,开电车的话还有充电桩可以用,毕竟海南岛的汽油价格是比较贵的。想吃海鲜的话就去小城市的沿海地区看看,会有海鲜农贸市场,都巨tm新鲜,个头大,便宜。买了以后就去附近随便一家饭店让老板烧。绝对干净卫生新鲜好吃还便宜。这样成本能比在三亚海口等等城市低一半以上。椰子也别去景区买,在小城市那些市区路边椰子树上的椰子掉下来都没人吃。妈哎,我第一次在海南吃莲雾吃到爽,这里的水果真是好吃又便宜(别去景区买水果,在城里水果店或者农贸市场买)。平时就开车去各个城市的各个景点玩,海南环线真的很方便。我春节期间是住文昌的,价格便宜多了。假期结束前还去文昌航天科普中心看了眼。
在三亚,不选靠海的酒店,其实也不贵。因为一流的海岸线多是星级酒店。吃的话,不去那些游客区。

That dragons blood tree is actually really useful for humans! I used to get very sick as a child from a respiratory condition and my Chinese pediatrician gave me a bottle of sap from it (as the name suggests its very red and very thick like blood) and i used to gargled it to disinfect and reduce inflammation in my tonsils and throat ... it works like magic!
