I still firmly believe this is one of the most underrated farm channel’s on TH-cam. I love your commentary Andy. Great video today as usual sir. Not a harder working farm family out there than yours sir.

I agree.Does a great job with his videos. Definitely leans toward fieldwork and machinery but ocassionalyy sneeks in a video of the "cow" end of the business.

Anyone who ever thinks that they want to quit their desk job and become a dairy farmer should be required to watch this video and be told that this is what you do between 0300 and 1000 for 365 days a year. bless you for feeding us slackers.

There actually are truck driving rodeos with backing contest. My neighbor came in 1st place for North Carolina 2 or 3 years in a row pulling doubles for consolidated freight back in the early 90’s

I once backed a Semi Tractor Trailer 9 miles in the dark. I was on a narrow road and came to a bridge with a 2 ton limit. I was hauling 30 tons of steel pipe. There was no place to turn around! Good thing I had a powerful flash light! Sometimes you just do what’s necessary!

🇨🇦 Andy, the way we hang our silo unloader spout…. Cut the chain to the correct length, attach a large open hook on the end. Hang it on the door step above and it will always be in the proper position. Also…. We leave a short wrecking bar hanging on the door so you can use it as a hammer to get the door loose and also to scrape the ledge when changing doors. Sure handy when things are frozen. We enjoy your videos, thanks for all the work you put into them. Ralph and Heather

For animal management I like the more groups. From labor stand point less groups are easier. I've always thought pens should be size of holding area most farms I've been on usually have bigger pens than holding area.
