Character development of main characters is something that I will adore all my life. Haesoo was cheerfull and kind child who became a clever woman, Wangso in his turn was lonely, harsh guy who became a kind and fair man. They was perfect for each other, many circumstances and people around them pulled them apart.
It's sad how Lee Joon gi said he won't do such dark characters anymore and blames himself for the drama ratings in Korea. And now they won't be making season 2 😭 Actually it's the opposite. He was just perfect . Those eyes when he was in front of queen/mother says all. I hope he realises he looked so good in it . It's 2020 and fans still can't forget his scenes in this drama. He needs to do more romantic dramas please and we won't mind the bad guy image.

Well there are so many historical drama's in korea so they think its not new any more and many ppl in korea dont even think young actress and actor can make it or do a good job for this drama..but dont worry scarlet heart is the most viewed drama world wide way back 2016 so its okay😁 by the way if your still waiting for s2,hinahanap palang ni wangso si hae soo kaya antay antay muna taeyo hahaha😅🤣
This drama is so heart breaking. I don't know how you manage to compile it without crying. Although I like the ending because Hae Soo can finally go back on her time. I admire this drama because it didn't stick at loving at all, it focus on what really happened on Goryeo dynasty. Although it breaks my heart.

I think its because she wanna change the history, Hae Soo loves him and she dont want him to be the bad king in the history. And she feels like it would be that history if she stays beside him. He kills for her protection and she dont want that to happen. i was rooting for wang soo and hae soo. but the fact that he chooses the throne over her won't change anything. he said it's for her benefit, and he promises her a position to be his concubine... instead of the empress because of his fear in losing a steady power. he clearly knows hae soo doesn't need all that golds or jeweleries, she just wants a peaceful life. but he just couldn't see it.. as if he's blinded already. honestly, i pity him but it's his choices that lead him to this ending

I'm not sure why but I feel that Haesoo was kind of mean in the first few ep. Like in the present, she was betrayed by her best friend and boyfriend cheating with each Other. But in goryeo she cheated with her cousins husband wang wook. Like why is she doing what hurt her Most to be cousin. Glad she got a character development tho and became a more mature women
When 1 by 1 left him at the end. The worst and sad part is those people are the one who he wanted to protect the most and the reason why he badly wanted to become an emperor. He was left alone
