Romance è una composizione giovanile di Franz Liszt scritta nel 1843 durante una visita a Mosca.
Il brano è basato sulla canzone "O pourquoi donc" ed era dedicato a Madame Josephine Koscielska.
Liszt - Stile interpretativo
Esistono poche fonti affidabili che danno un'idea di come realmente Liszt suonasse negli anni '20 del 1800. Carl Czerny affermava che Liszt fosse una persona particolarmente dotata che suonava con molto sentimento e nelle recensioni dei suoi concerti elogiava la brillantezza, la forza e la precisione del suo modo di suonare.Il suo repertorio consisteva principalmente in pezzi della scuola Viennese brillante, come i concerti di Johann Nepomuk Hummel e le opere del suo ex insegnante Carl Czerny. Nei suoi concerti mostrava spesso le sue abilità tramite l'improvvisazione.
Franz Liszt è considerato uno dei più grandi virtuosi dell'800, se non di tutti i tempi. Liszt è inoltre l'inventore di un nuovo modo di suonare: in molte delle sue opere, la melodia viene affidata ai pollici delle due mani, lasciando così libere le altre dita di destreggiarsi con arpeggi e ottave.
Una volta che Liszt iniziò nuovamente la sua carriera come pianista dopo che era stata interrotta dalla morte del padre nel 1827, il suo modo di suonare raramente era limitato alla sola musica. Le sue espressioni facciali e la sua gestualità riflettevano ciò che stava suonando, tanto da essere preso spesso in giro dalla stampa del tempo. Spesso si concedeva delle stravaganti libertà nelle interpretazioni delle partiture. Si suppone che Hector Berlioz raccontò di come Liszt aggiunse cadenze, tremoli e trilli quando interpretò la Sonata per pianoforte n. 14 (Beethoven), creando una scena drammatica, cambiando il tempo da Largo in Presto; ciò non si può constatare con certezza, poiché questa affermazione non è riportata in nessun documento scritto fino a noi pervenuto.
Repertorio
Durante i suoi anni come virtuoso itinerante, Liszt tenne in tutta Europa una serie di concerti, il cui repertorio era centrato sulle sue composizioni, parafrasi e trascrizioni. Analizzando i concerti che tenne tra il 1840 e il 1845, si osserva che i cinque brani più eseguiti furono il Grand Galop Chromatique, Der Erlkönig da Franz Schubert (trascrizione a cura di Liszt stesso), Réminiscences de Don Juan, Réminiscences de Robert le Diable e Réminiscences de Lucia de Lammermoor. Tra le opere di altri compositori, si incontrano composizioni come Invito alla danza di Carl Maria von Weber, le Mazurche di Frédéric Chopin, studi di compositori come Ignaz Moscheles, e Ferdinand Hiller, oltre alle opere maggiori di compositori come Beethoven, Weber, Hummel e, di tanto in tanto, anche opere di Bach, Händel e Domenico Scarlatti.
Antonio Castagna si è diplomato presso l’ISTITUTO MUSICALE PAREGGIATO “G. Braga” di Teramo e, successivamente, si è perfezionato con il M° Franco Medori e con il M° Carlo Zecchi.
Ha quindi tenuto numerosi concerti e recitals in Italia e all’estero (GERMANIA, SVEZIA, BELGIO, OLANDA, EMIRATI ARABI UNITI) per prestigiose Istituzioni culturali. Ha partecipato più volte a programmi radio-televisivi RAI.
Nel 1999 suona in ARGENTINA e in COREA del SUD per l’Università di Taejon . Nel 2000 ha effettuato una tournée in GERMANIA, SVIZZERA e AUSTRIA suonando a Salisburgo nell’ambito dei Salzburger Schlosskonzerte, nella Marmorsaal dello Schloss Mirabell ; nel mese di ottobre ha suonato a Boston (USA) per la Dante Alighieri.
Nel 2001 ha suonato a Parigi, presso l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura, nell’ambito della manifestazione “Hommage à LA FIGLIA DI JORIO” e a Basilea per il Consolato Generale d’Italia.
Su invito dell'Istituto Italiano di Cultura, ha suonato in BRASILE, a Rio de Janeiro, nel prestigioso Museo Nazionale delle Belle Arti. Nel mese di novembre 2010 ha suonato, con il Trio di Teramo, a Filadelfia (USA).
Ha ricevuto dal Comune di San Felice Circeo il “Premio Internazionale W. A. Mozart” alla carriera.
E' stato Direttore, dal 1996 al 2012, dell’Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Gaetano BRAGA di Teramo. E' stato docente di Pianoforte nei Conservatori di Foggia e di Teramo. - เพลง

Une fois e plus, je suis sous le charme de ta divine interprétation de cette oeuvre de Franz Liszt "dont jai un buste sur le bureau de ma chambre"😉. Cet artiste d'une grande sensibilité tout comme Chopin, nous a laissé de si belles pages de musique, que tu as sublimé avec ton interprétation pleine de retenue. Un magnifique moment musical que je ne pouvais pas laisser sans commentaire !! Bravo mon ami.

This is one of your interpretations I love the most. Played with great sensivity and devotion for this music.
I'm so happy you have introduced us to this Romance. I have listened to it many times...what melodies and chord progressions...what strong emotions.
When our son heard your interpretation, he decided to play it at his final examination at music school 🙂 So our house is 'filled' with the sounds of this Romance nearly every day 😃🎵

non avevo mai sentito questo brano di Liszt che all'inizio mi ha ricordato vagamente Chopin...... non sono un esperto e giudico la musica classica per le emozioni che mi da, e questa romanza nella tua interpretazione fa battere il cuore così come sarà certamente capitato a Madame Josephine 😊 grazie Maestro per averci donato questi minuti di musica sublime, fra l'altro così ben presentata in un video eccellente, a big LIKE👍 buon weekend, Adam
La tua considerazione su Chopin è fondata. Infatti Romance è una composizione giovanile di Liszt che si ispira a Chopin.
