- Dear TH-cam Musicians! Here's the first track in my new series of playalong backing tracks, which are designed for jamming and practising improvisation with! I thought it would be fun to start with a funky blues in G minor. Hope you enjoy the track, and have fun jamming along to it! All the best, Nick D :)

Love this track! I throw in a Dorian lick every so often with it, and a few jazzy bends and it sounds great if I do say so myself
Funkily cool.

Anyone (or the publisher) know what the walk ups are that are at some of the changes? I want to add them Thanks
And a good time was had by all!!!!
My guitar loved it, my amp loved it,
my pedals loved it… and by the way,
SO DID I. !!!!!!
Sorry, but this is a standard minor blues progression. "Coming Home Baby" has Eb 9 for bars 5 & 6.
Absolutely not, my friend!
A “standard” minor Blues has a ivm7 (4 minor 7, Cm7) in bars 5 and 6. That’s what’s happening in this great track!
Also, you may be counting bars incorrectly. This is a 12-bar Blues (as most are), and those percentage symbols indicate a repeated bar. So that first Eb9 doesn’t appear until bar 9. All of the chord symbols are correctly notated except the last D7#9 which should appear at beat 3 of the final and 12th bar. Cheers!
Yes it is. So? It’s groovey and I’ve played contless songs with this progression. What’s your point?
There’s one in every crowd
🎉😅😅😅
Hey Bob .Have you ever considered a career in nit picking ?
So perky!
I hope you don't take credit for writing this song. This was an instrument called "Comin Home Baby" , written in 1961 Ben Tucker and first recorded by the Dave Bailey Quintet and shortly thereafter by Herbie Mann. At any rate, it's nice to jam to..
It's just a chord progression...hundreds of songs have used it. What are you talking about? You a RIAA lawyer, or something?
Give me a break.
Go break. Can i get a radio check?! Ha ha. Really. Shut up and jam! I posted me playing on a backing track and yt copyrighted me. I faught it. It's just me playing spontaneous over a backing track! I won! But I'll take it as a compliment that I'm kinda good. lol
Stop being an idiot
You are approaching this little jam with the wrong attitude.
Reconsider your position.
