    I am a Mende from Sierra Leone. We have the same dancing traditions and steps as Igbos. That's why I like the oghene so much.

    One of the best decision I ever took in my life was to get my Bachelor's degree in UNN. Spent a semester learning about Ogene, the flow, the percussion, the organisation. I just love this Ejike Nwamba guy.

      Thanks @Fun And Fun. It’s called the Ogene music from my tribe called the Igbo tribe in the southeastern part of Nigeria. It’s a cultural or traditional music performed mostly during funerals and other special events in Igboland.🙏👍✌️❤️

    I remember when I was in enugu for my youth service, I play all the instruments and I was chosen as one of the representatives to represent enugu for NYSC DG CUP in delta state, I can't love this type of music less. God bless igbo people for that experience. One love to you all

    Before the introduction of English language in ourland, what language your people speak, before the name nigeria came into existence, what is the name of your fathers land? And before the introduction of western music and instruments, which sound do your great grandpa play then? I am an IBO man from IGBO land, my country and culture has been in existence before the invasion of western culture. Ogene sound is one the sound that been played in our land since day1, all ogene instruments are made in our land, no foriegn intruments required yet this ogene sound is my best sound ever.
