I recently got these from the shock drop. I also have the low OG cut powder blues. My only complaint with these UNC toes is that the black leather around the toe is definitely not as soft as it can be. The UNC low OGs definitely have better leather on the mudguard compared to these
Softer leather doesn’t mean better though I’m sure you know that??
@@batiso I am aware of that yes lol. But you also don’t want dress shoe leather stiffness on the toe box of what is practically a lifestyle sneaker right? Not saying these feel that stiff by any means, far from it. Just thought it was curious how the low cut OG pair has better quality on that toe box. If you look at the reviews for that black toe OG low AJ1 that’s supposed to come out in August you’d see how everyone is also praising the leather quality on those

Was able to get these on the shock drop, leather is definitely the best ive had on a pair in a while. Not as good as my royals or shadows, but definitely better than the taxis and my other recent pairs

*All the commentary about the leather on these being premium is insane. I hit on the shock drop and the leather on these is slightly above average, at best. Leather on the Taxi's and the Pollen's blows these joints away in terms of quality.*

I like the unc toe but the 1's are so uncomfortable if you wear them to long but I'm still going to try and cop and good luck to everyone trying to cop. Great review
Try changing out the insoles. The insoles in 1s suck but changing the insoles makes them a little more comfortable. If you have a pair of Air Ships, the insoles in those are straight butter, wayyyy thicker and very very comfortable. They will make a difference. But I get it, they still may not be as comfortable as you like but maybe try it.

Any Retro Jordan gotta be broken in. The first few wears are usually mad uncomfortable. Only model thats kinda okay right out of the box are 3s IMO

@@nealsmall9316 Crease protectors some work and some not really. The principle is good but in my opinion a lot are uncomfortable. I’ve had a couple that were not uncomfortable but I’ve really just been one that doesn’t really care if my shoes get creases cause they are meant to be worn and frankly some look better with a little wear. The thing I use the most is some good quality shoe trees…mixture between plastic and the cedar wood ones. But if you’ve never tried them and are wanting to, I’d try it to see for yourself if you like or don’t like crease protectors cause everyone’s different.
