Zee and NuNew have said they both want to do as many different roles as possible to expand their acting skills and challenge themselves. This year they will have series separately as well as together. They also perform at couple, series and solo events. In their case fans from Cutie Pie have definitely increased their popularity massively, made them and DMD wealthy and given them more options in terms of what roles they can take but there are also challenges. They have been followed on their private time, there has been vicious online trolling on women Zee knows or has acted with, on Zee and NuNew and other people who've worked with them, as well as NuNew's parents. Homophobic 'fans' have forced the interviewer Woody to change the title of his interview with them from one explicitly calling them a couple to a more ambiguous one, made Zee apologise for saying he would have liked more NC/love scenes in Cutie Pie, and DMD has had to engage lawyers to try to deal with the huge amount of hate tweets and libel directed at Zee or NuNew, which are not just hurtful and disgusting, but can have an effect on their advertising power and revenue, as companies won't work with artists if there's too much drama or negativity directed towards them. Despite all these drawbacks Zee and NuNew love working together the most, whether acting or singing, and spur each other on to improve their skills. The improvement in Zee's singing since they started singing together has been phenomenal, and NuNew has learnt how to talk confidently and charismatically in public from Zee. It is also clear to see how much strength and happiness they draw from each other.
