I wonder about the long term effect of Botox on facial muscle structure and strength. If you paralyze a muscle long enough, wouldn’t you run the risk of atrophy??!!
The chances of sensationalist accidents like paralysis and heart attacks seem pretty irrelevant to me. The most pertinent effects of botox or facelifts would be the long term effects on the actual skin. Will repeated nerve paralysis inflict permanent damage on the nerves? And what does a face lift look like 20+ years after its done? I think those are more important things to study.
I've always wanted to see an identical twin study done where one has had a face lift, the other, not. With photos of each 5, 10, 15, 20 years later. That said there is often a difference in aging even amongst identical twins so the results could be skewed by lifestyle factors. Still I would be very interested in seeing something like this
Safer options for topical control of pit odor (not wetness): Rubbing alcohol (needs frequent reapplication in hot weather, not good for those who shave under there) and Milk of Magnesia (MOM). I used alcohol for decades, then switched to MOM when I learned of it's efficacy in stopping the growth of stinky bacteria of our armpits. MOM lasts MUCH longer than rubbing alcohol. Generic versions of MOM work fine--it's the magnesium methinks. Love it, cheap safe and long lasting with a long history of use in this manner. I wouldn't think of using modern stuff. I don't care how wet it gets, just don't be stinky!
As a guy, I'd probably get some work done if/when my frown lines become really bad. I'm cool with growing old, but I don't want to come across angry when I'm not.
If you had only one treatment for looking younger. What would it be? - and what I mean is something that really stimulates the generation of collagen and reduce wrinkles. And I know a healthy diet, not sun, sports… but a cosmetic treatment like Microneedling or laser or … I don’t know but what is the most trusted treatment to date with reliable date about skin rejuvenation?

I love this channel!
Appreciate this video, especially the focus on Botox. What about fillers and their long term impact on health?
Every time you get filler, you run the risk of a vascular occlusion

yes many like this actually but I think its not good as muscle does give volume to the face and youth

4:35 "...but the Kardashians had 15 000 of them. So the problem is not as widespread as it might seem."
What about using Botox to stop sweating under armpits? Is it "safer" than using aluminum chloride antiperspirant sprays?

My take is that both are safe,
If administered by MD professional.
Thank you so much

Will this stop my eye twitching from my neighbours blue light at 300-500nm causing retinal eye damage
🤣
my grandmas have the spock without ever having used botox XD

Haven't watched this video yet but I know its not going to stop me from doing anything
But I thought if they just eat the specialty diet they won't age, so why would they need these products?
