"Step On Your Shadow" by Xiao Zhan, with lyrics in Chinese and pinyin. Includes subtitles in English and Spanish. The intention of this video is to help you learn hanzi/Chinese characters, vocabulary and tones. I hope it does help! 😊
NOTE: I normally try to translate as literally as possible to make it easier to remember words and phrases, but in this case it just wouldn't work because the meaning of the phrase gets totally lost and it just sounds weird in English and in Spanish as well 😫
So, after asking around (a lot) I decided to translate 中间的温度 多少都有点不快乐 (lit. The temperature in the middle is a little unhappy, see? weird 😐) as: Our uncertain relationship makes me a little unhappy, which is how it should be interpreted, according to what people who know/speak Chinese told me.
The temperature thing actually refers to people's feelings. It's in the middle because they're not hot, as in there's not a lot of love there; and they're not cold, because there's not indiference involved either. So it's just something uncertain, they aren't feeling the same and they're not sure what the other person is feeling 🤷🏻‍♀️

Before I was able to get an English translation, I cried and now understanding there lyrics I cry even harder every time I hear this song. Xiao Zhan truly put his heart ands soul in singing this song. I feel the pain in the lyrics. Magnificently performed. His voice is angelic. I never get tired of listening to his music.
