Hi I was wondering if you could tell me what you actually use to find the heavy metals, in these objects . I’m in Australia & can’t get you out. 😂 is it a kit I can buy? I have lupus & would love to test somethings just for me. Don’t worry you just answered my Question. 🤣

Hi there. I use an instrument called an XRF instrument. New it can cost about $50,000 with all the software installed. Most of the thing I test cannot be tested with a home kit effectively. Here’s a post with more information about it: tamararubin.com/2016/12/ask-tamara-what-do-you-use-to-test-for-lead/

That first cup is a Wedgwood Edme pattern cup, most likely from 1995 or later. It is of a material known as "creamware." Creamware is a semi-porous material. Wedgwood made other creamware patterns as well, though they also made porcelain patterns, which are fired at a higher temperature-though I do know know if those porcelain dishes are lead free or not.
