Hi Lady these things are sent to try us?you done a great job on that unit Blue 💙 Peter Badge for you, thank you for you're channel since I've been retired you keep me up to date with all the gossip not a lorry driver but my late father and numerous uncles were all in the industry safe travel lady 🇬🇧🏴
Hello 👋 my trucking friend hope you are well and enjoying life nice weather for your trucking take care and keep those wheels turning.you are doing a brilliant job good luck for the future Phil 👍🍀
Great vlog as usual . Had a bird hit the top of the windscreen on the passenger side once and unfortunately for it, virtually explode . No damage to the windscreen but it took some cleaning . Still shocks you when it hits though. Merch looks good.
I'm not sure - but the stuff growing between the motorway lanes might be oleander bushes. Thank you for the interesting videos! Greetings from Germany.
Hate hitting wildlife. Happened to us in the New Forest. Was driving along and a stupid male partridge ran across the road after a female, so we slowed. She disappeared and he stopped, and we started to speed up when the little idiot turned around to come back across the road, we hit it. All I could see was feathers and some blood. We stopped, got out, and went to look, but there was no sign of the bird, no sign of any damage and no sign of any blood or feathers. So weird. Went to visit my friend in Arizona a few years ago. She lives down in the south of the state, and we we drove through the town of Safford, and on the right was field upon field of greenery, everywhere else is totally brown as far as the eye can see. When I mentioned this to my friend saying they've got lots of potatoes growing, she said its not potatoes, even she thought the same when she first came to live there. Apparently, its cotton fields. She said if we'd come a few weeks later, they would be all white ready for the harvesting of the cotton
The bird that damaged your truck might have been a vulture. They are common in Spain as you probably know. Three years ago on a back road between Guadalajara and Teruel, we dsturbed a flock of about twelve feeding on the ground at the side of the road. They all took off together, surrounding our car, above, in front and behind. At 50mph we might have hit one.
Great video again. I'm heading back to Guadalajara tomorrow for the second time and my second continental run. Will definitely do things a little different this time. Would love if you could could provide a complete walkthrough on the ferry movement on one of your videos as the last time I got myself in a muddle and I'm getting told so many different ways to do it on the tacho 😢😢😢
Try watching this video I did, it might help. 😁 Don’t overthink, it’s really very simple. 2 movements allowed, totalling no more than 1hr. Total break (time the wheels are parked) must be 11 hours, no time you are moving is classed as break. 😁 th-cam.com/video/1j7xWJCuh6U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Mgrdm1ufypMuK-EB
Wind turbines have gotten much bigger over time. Bigger makes more money so they're constantly working on that. Blade lengths are about twice what they were 20 years ago, so the blades you see being transported nowadays are a lot bigger than the ones on older turbines like the ones you filmed (which are definitely grid-connected, that was a utility-scale power station). Land-based turbines may not get much bigger from here until they invent new tricks to overcome the transport challenges, but sea-based ones will definitely keep growing.
@@GBtrucklady The turbines you filmed are probably each equal to about 4 to 5 500hp Scanias in their output. The latest ones equal a dozen or more Scanias.
5:15 No we do not have the cheapest electric bills in Spain. The price obviously various day to day, even hour by hour with the smart meters. Its is said to be around the 23 cents per kw /h and in The Netherlands it is 25 cents. Think of the wage comparison then we have over priced power. Luxemburg is even cheaper. Look up "España, la electricidad más cara de Europa 2024" If you do not add the 2024 the results will show when we had the Most expensive prices. That was just a year ago. The government now has a new formula to calculate the price. Every one of those turbines is shipped to Spain. We don't know how they will be disposed of either. The plants in the centre is hard to say for from the video. However, if they have red leaves (the new growth) and white flowers then it will be photinia x fraseri. I have some in my garden. Edit for spelling error.
Hi sherralin going back a few years I delivered to the opera house in Madrid just around the corner from the palace and one time on a Sunday first time unloaded out side second time back though the main doors onto a lift to the back of the stage had no permits people told me you can’t go into the centre of Madrid I must have been very lucky not to get find great video stay safe keep an eye out for them low flying birds regards bob
We've quite a few turbines on the mountains above us some like them some don't but my view is that I'd rather them than a nuclear power station on my doorstep and the Dutch company that own them put hundreds of thousands into the local community sponsorship wise
They are very contentious, some like them, others see them as a blot on the landscape. Some have been put up near my friends house on the Glens of Antrim and he hates them. 😁
I've saved this video for tomorrow's catch up sherralin, I've not caught up lately and I will, love your videos its just having time to watch them all 😊 not sure why your bumper is damaged but when we are driving all these years we are bound to have a bump here or there... no one is perfect and I hope you are well? 😊 keep on trucking 🚚 👍

Hi 👋🏻 Thank you. Hope you had a great time, now back to the grindstone. 😂
The plants are Olyander. We have them in Almeria as well.
Thank you. They grow huge and look stunning. 😁
@@GBtrucklady A farmer near us has them round the fields alternating white and pink.
Wow, some bird went home with a really sore head.😲😲 At least you're getting some good weather. Thanks again for a really interesting video.
Thanks for watching 😁
A lot of the wind turbines are made in hull in Yorkshire. They are moved by road and sea. The factory has its own berth alongside on the river humber.
Nice to hear Britain is at the front of technology 😁
Interesting about roads around Madrid , used to deliver to P&G packing plant in summer time some 35 years ago . Stay safe
Thanks for watching 😁
