  • I share with you my honest review and experience as an Engwe Engine x Pro 750w daily driver. I use this bike on a daily basis for delivering. This video is not sponsored and I bought the bike with my own money.

    Hello. I see that you know electric bicycles well. I want to buy one, but I have no way to try them. That's why I would appreciate it if you could advise me on a model. I tell you my needs. I am 70 years old and I am 5'5". I weigh 70 kg. I want it to walk, mainly on steep mountain trails. I don't need speed, but I do need it to be able to climb steep trails without having to pedal.

      Hello Pabloi. I by no means know about E-bikes. In fact this is my first E-bike so I am not in a position to advise you in this matter. This bike does not have enough power to climb very steep trails but with your 70kg it might do the job, cant confirm. Maybe Ill highlight your comment and one of the folks passing by might help you with this. Thx for watching!

      @22or22  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say not too cheap not too expensive. Search for Engwe EU website you will find it easily. Cheers

      Hello brother, def will need a mirror as well but I have been postponing this upgrade. Do you use your Engwe for your daily ride now? If so how is it specilally in heavy rain? And how many kms are you getting oit of your battery?
      Morocco is a beautiful country :)

    Your battery question. My 2nd battery obtained 3 months after my first one shows no difference. I have not had any battery degradation after 1 year. Charging slowly, including not more than 2 hours at a time, and not going maximum speed very often, can mean not stressing the battery hard.

    • @22or22
      @22or22  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thx for sharing this. That would be amazing if its so. Ill have to wait for spring or summer and see how the battery behaves so I can compare it to when I first started using it. I hope you are correct ;)

    • @22or22
      @22or22  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Only light rain, so no idea to be honest. Most probably it can take it but for how long and how often I cant tell.

    So, I see you're still calling it Engine X Pro... There's no such thing. There is Engine Pro, which you have and Engine X, the one that I just got a week ago, which is EU certified (legal) 'cause it's 250w supposedly xD. Basically, it's a somewhat cheaper edition of the Pro, as it has mechanical brakes, black & white display, no regenerative power function, no leather grips nor metal pedals and a smaller battery (13 Ah), but the motor's power is the same, it's just labeled as 250w to be EU compliant.
    It comes limited to 25 kmh, which is unlockable to 60, just as Engine Pro. I keep it locked, so that the throttle doesn't work, but I set the speed limit to 60 with 0-9 PAS modes. So, if I'm riding it in the town, I only use 0-5, which tops at 25 km (or eventually 0-6, when battery goes under 50%, as the whole power output goes down, due to lower voltage I believe) and up to 9 if I go off road, which I am yet to do.

      No idea why I keep calling it like that, in my next video I will remember your message :)
