Adventure Backpackers, Neiafu, Va'vau, Tonga

I went to Va'vau for a week while living in Pahu, Nuku'alofa, Tonga and this was the backpackers I stayed at, for any other backpackers, ask for Derik or Emily, the owners, they were awesome hosts, and also own the restaurant (The sunset Grill) down the road, def worth a trip!

Thanks for posting a few years ago my sister and her husband moved to Tonga and bought the backers you filmed video of... I had only seen pics previous to finding your video,Thanks again if you have any video of "sunset grill" in Tonga,I would love to see it....THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!

I don´t know, you´d have to look up flights, depends where you coming from, when you go, who yo fly with, how you travel, your spending habits, where you stay, etc, etc, there´s no ¨set¨ price. That backpackers isn´t expensive at all, just do some research online and google it, you´ll find lot´s of info, but a backpackers is just like a cheap youth hostel, where you simply get a bed in a shared room and access of a shared kitchen, etc, probably cost you less than 10 USD a day!

thank you for this video! foster, the one who's left to run it since derek and emily ditched him, is essentially my third parent and it's nice to see what it's like over there. if anyone's looking for somewhere to stay in tonga, or even better if they want to buy something in tonga, definitely check this out!

@motorhead4life4ever Cheers mate, small world huh! I don't have any video's of the sunset grill, but I did eat there almost everyday! I do have about 3 pictures of it, nothing great, one you can see Derek on the Grill and another the awesome view from inside the grill, if you want,send me a private message with an email and I'd be happy to email ya the few pic's I do have.
