Thank you, David. I really appreciate that and I will continue to make the Brookfield videos whenever there's an update! BN and BAM make up a very large portion of my portfolio :)
Thank you. One question: why do you think the insight score for BN is only 2.4. Sounds like insight score is not able capture lot of things. On the other side, insight score for NYCB is very high.
Awesome video Daniel! Brookfield is my largest holding BN ~20% and BAM ~10% of my portfolio. I do still believe BN is decently undervalued trading at a now 15x DE before realizations which is a bargain for this quality of a business imo
Hey Jason, thank you for the kind words! I also agree, I think BN is undervalued relative to its quality and future potential. BN and BAM are large positions for me as well.
Hi - could you give me your thoughts on BBUC ( Brookfield Business Company) - could you make a video on analysing it? Deep value to my view. Best Chris
Appreciate the breakdown, Not holding my breath to see the NAV realized on BN shares but, happy with the performance of my core holding. On a different topic, do you have a game plan for your LMN shares before March 25/24 when Lumine starts the mandatory conversion of its preferred shares and special shares? The Topicus share price still hasn't come close to recovering since its conversion completed in early 2022.
Thank you for the analysis. I appreciate that you look at fundamentals and thoroughly research companies (not stocks 😬) Where do you see the risks for this business? I.e. what is your conclusion on the low ROIC? And to which extent have their results been this good due to the overall stock market high? Do you know what their assets consist of exactly? And any risks with their liabilities (I.e. outflows or refinancing)?
Question for BAM, cause i still dont understand fully. Will BAM benefit from the insurance buiness or the cash flow from this and prenium will go straight to BN?
I appreciate your excellent insight Daniel. I’m now (finally) all about strong fundamentals & long term holds. I’d like to add BN & CP rail, do you think they’ll drop some for me? They’ve both jumped significantly since the new year. 🙏
Hey Mag, thank you for the kind words! I am all about strong fundamentals now, too! I can't speak to what the short term price movement of these stocks will be. I just believe that over the long term they will be worth more!
Question: when viewing Brookfield's assets on their balance sheet, is their capitalization in there, or is that separate? They show readers that they have $84 per share of capital, i.e. all of these shares in ownership of $ generating businesses, but is that included in one of the lines of their balance sheet?
Thanks. I think this will hit 65 in the next 2 years and it's dividend is going to be around $1.00 per quarter. Long time shareholders will be rewarded if they hold on to it.
Would be great if you replied to comments asking about poor insight scores and debt etc for BN on Stock Unlock. All comments asking any questions with any negativity seem to just get ignored when they're pretty valid.
They are completely different businesses but both Brookfield subsidiaries. I'd recommend going to Brookfield's website and reading the information on these two businesses!
Under Promiss and overdeliver is one of the key factors I look for in all of my investments. Lisa Su is another CEO that does a great job of doing such.
I really appreciate your analysis and work, thank you for sharing with us your insights about BN and the market. Since I recently started investing, I would like you to give us some details/data of why do you think there is an AI bubble. Thank you!
It's separate. Fee related earnings come from management fees, and carried interest comes from performance fees if their investment return exceeds the hurdle rate.
@@mysolotraveling great, thanks. Reached the same conclusion but wanted to validate. A lot of definitions going on in this business making it tricky. Also assuming that Assets under management drives Carried interest wheres fee bearing capital drives management fee. Is that the right way to look at it?
@@ImACloner Good question, I believe fee bearing capital is where Brookfield earns both type of fees from (This is the funds Brookfield's clients invested in). On the other hand , assets under management includes all assets under Brookfield, which includes their own investments like the office buildings and the insurance float, there isn't any fees charged for these.
Thank you Daniel! I have been waiting for this video! I am a big Brookfield fan! It is the 2nd largest in my portfolio now. I look forward to that increasing. I hope you never hesitate to do another Brookfield video.
I am awaiting for your book coming to my country 🇵🇱 Poland! I can’t wait to read it! Why are we not considering here P/E ratio for Brookfield Corporation which is pretty high around 60.. ??indicating pretty low income compared to price, this is what i see yahoo finance and other stock tracking apps…
You should not invest in individual stocks if your don't understand how to value companies. You have depreciation vs. actual maintenance capex mismatch, and unrealized gains. Go read
BAM finally raised their dividend, so I'm happy. My yield on cost is 5% now. I know it's a superficial observation, but BAM's stock price seems to match what BN's does. So I'd rather keep buying BAM and collect a bigger dividend. BN's stock price is finally back up at my cost basis after being down 20% for two years. Can't complain whatsoever!
Wow! Thank you for reading my entire book. I really appreciate that and I am glad you found it valuable :) If you have time, leaving a review of the book on Amazon really helps the book get in front of more readers. :)

Your book arrived yesterday… awesome!
Thank you so much for purchasing it! I really hope you enjoy reading it :)
What about the debt they have? Isn't it very risky?
I received my book today, looking forward to reading it.
Thank you for supporting my book and work! I really appreciate it, and I hope you enjoy reading it :)
I always love getting your insight on BN, it gives me confidence in my holdings! Do you ever cover ENB?
Thank you Matty! I appreciate that! I don't think I will cover ENB as I don't think I have an edge in that sector
Congratulations on the success of your book!

Good videos only thing is; What are the biggest risks for the business?? You should zoom out a little and stand still by risk/reward
Would be great if you replied to comments asking about poor insight scores and debt etc for BN on Stock Unlock. All comments asking any questions with any negativity seem to just get ignored when they're pretty valid.
The reason I don't respond to these is because I've addressed this question before. Many times.
BAM was an excellent addition to my portfolio, loaded up back in May '23.
Nice work! I loaded up a lot when it was in the 30's CAD. I still wish I bought more XD
@DanielPronk You're channel put me on to BAM, watched the video of yours when you originally talked about it... great long term add and hold.
Hey Daniel, awesome content man as usual. Any video coming soon for TH-cam potfolio update? What are your thoughts on Pltr?
Hey! Thank you for the kind words! Yes, a TH-cam portfolio update will be coming soon :)
Love the videos! Keep up the good work!
Thank you Mr. Andy! I am glad you're enjoying my content :)

Daniel, have you ever had a look to Boston Omaha? You might like it.
Hey! I have taken a look briefly. I didn't love it personally. Maybe I will discuss it in a future video
I finally added a position selling some metal stocks for this quality company
Great video! Love Brookfield.
Thank you! Same here :)
Is carried interest included in Fee related earnings, or is that seperate?
It's separate. Fee related earnings come from management fees, and carried interest comes from performance fees if their investment return exceeds the hurdle rate.

how come you didnt cover why bn stock unlock insight score is 2.39/5? you usually go into more depth for that when you are bashing a stock
I've discussed this a few times. BN's GAAP financials don't reflect the true business due to all of its subsidiaries having to report with it
Given Wall Street values over GAAP Financials, when do you think market values this business fairly with non GAAP Financials?
Great video!
Thank you!!
Good job

Hey! The short answer is I do not look at the P/E ratio for Brookfield. My book will help explain why that is :)
BAM finally raised their dividend, so I'm happy. My yield on cost is 5% now.

Right?! I was waiting for the big dividend increase and we finally got it! I hope they continue increasing it every year at this rate
do you think LAZR has a chance to 10x?
I'll take a look in a future video
Didn't Brookfield destroy the Brazilian rainforest with logging ?
Of course BAM is not the best stock. Come on. It may be the best in your portfolio, but certainly not the best US listed stock.
Can you tell me a better dividend growth stock?
4% yield today, 19% dividend growth projections. That yield and that growth are very rare.
@@danielpronk will give it a try.
