JBL Tune 660 headphones are great. Comfortable and stylish to wear. Music sounds great. Much less expensive than other headphones.

It's not just you, the noise cancellation on these headphones are just plain crap. The ringing noise / static sounds when NC is turned on is the anti-sound that's supposed to cancel out the noise, but since these are on the cheaper side, they're poorly calibrated or have mediocre mics that don't even detect noise properly. IMHO the NC on these headphones are just a gimmick so they can sell more of them, but the sound quality without NC is fine.

when i connect it with my phone sometimes it disconnects from my phone but it reconnects quite quickly they are both close to each other and both should be using bluetooth 5.0
I just upgraded to these after getting that issue with the 710’s after a year of use, hopefully the 760’s aren’t prone to this issue 💀💀

for some reason my JBL 760NC sounds distorted when I have the white LED on whatever it’s called. idk if it’s a issue.
It does it on mine as well, I think the bass takes a hit when it’s on because of the noise cancellation

Don't lose the cords. You will have to order new ones from JVC. The longer cord can be attached to a hub with a Jack or Aux port and attached to a USB A plug. The extremely short orange cord is impractical except for use next to a JVC speaker or connected through a compatible hub. Why did JVC make a very short orange cord? The noise cancelling feature is great for music without deep base. I listen mostly to light rock, pop, classical, jazz, atmospheric, and oldies so deep base is not a problem. The sound is average but danceable. The controls are not easy to use while wearing. These headphones look great while wearing and are best for smaller to medium sized heads. Overall, these headphones are great for noise cancellation without deep base; and average for everything else. There are less expensive and slightly better headphones.

I can only assume it means that it has a microphone on the headphones, the ones I got have a mic on the ear part of the headphones
it does have a microphone and its actually very good
