I love Dennis the Menace! Such a classic 80s cartoon. I remember watching it on Cartoon Network back in the day. It’s crazy to think it only lasted from July 2nd to October 12th, 2001. Time flies!
Hopefully there's more Cartoon Network Commercials for Summer of 2001. And one of my favorite commercials at that time, is the Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercial, with Lance the Lifeguard.

16:59 Recess School’s Out is amazing! The best throwback to the classic 90s Disney animated series Recess. So much better than Doug’s 1st Movie (another Disney movie), which didn’t quite live up to the Nickelodeon version of Doug.
Cartoon network’s cartoon theatre didn’t show another movie the following Saturday in august 2001 because of cartoon cartoon Fridays was on all weekend long.

What was that Toon Extra at the end? Why would they play those after a movie?
The toon extras were Alien Confidential from Johnny Bravo and I Are Terraformer! from I Am Weasel.
They were shown as 15 minute filler as the original running time for this movie that was 80 minutes was shown in a 2 hour time slot (including commercials).
