The song that literally saved the band from being canceled! Although they didn't write this song, it gives the direction of where they wanted to go. Just a good simple rock song! This is the first song I heard from Band-Maid, and the MISA solo, then Mincho doing her killer solo, I was hooked! Next for me was "Dice", and there was no turning back from the Pigeon Hole after that! Notice Saiki has already ditched her apron, she really hated it. Also the "Barefoot Assassin" is in shoes here and is still playing her four string Fender Jazz Bass. Fun side note, the little hat Akane is wearing was originally for MISA and she didn't like it, so Akane adopted it. R.I.P. Tiny Hat.
@@ALAN_COX Akane said it hurt keeping it on during the performances, I agree, it would be cool to see it again. Maybe wear it out onto the stage, then have a hat stand for it?
@@waynebenedict5785 Akane doesn't go at it as hard as she used to before her back injury. The tiny hat may have a better chance of staying on comfortably now. (lol) The barista ladies at my favorite local coffee shop wore tiny hats at their one year anniversary of being open. I should have showed them a pic of Akane wearing the tiny hat but they were extremely busy that day.
Seeing the Maids live and up close in a small, intimate club is a "Thrill" of a lifetime. One should consider themselves lucky to experience them like this because it's becoming rare. And as for sound... it'll be the best hard rockin' sound you can imagine -- clear, discreet, powerful and full of energy and joyful vibes! (And no compression!! ;-) Just ask anyone who's experienced them live. In fact, we've been getting an earful of "wow's" and "that was incredible" from all the reactors and commenters from their successful 2022 & 2023 Band-Maid USA Tours. Rock on, 🦋
My first song from them I heard. when TH-cam kept recommending it to me while watching Lovebites videos I was like they are in maid outfits how good can they be. then I finally listened and i was blown away now they are in my top 5 favorite bands
Ohrenje's YT channel just dropped a video explaining the story of how this song saved the band. He also did individual documentaries for each member that I highly recommend. They are a must watch for any Band-Maid fan!
One of my favorites from the Maids. Since Misa (bassist) is my favorite, I like the great bass line they put in their songs as witnessed here. One thing Id suggest is to increase your mic volume to closely match the videos volume. A huge difference between the two.
At this time Miku didn't know how to play the guitar and in the video she just pretends to play. Just as a lot of people liked the music, a lot of people said that they were frauds and that they were pretending to play the instruments. Maybe the haters thought this was because of the baby bones that pretended to play the instruments at the beginning of Babymetal, perhaps. The fact is that to prove that they could play, all the members of Band-Maid, with the exception of MIku, of course, recorded individual videos showing that they knew how to play. These videos are still around on YT.
