    The camera angle was a little deceptive, but that really did look tight and that overhang 🤪

    Gosh Im 1st to comment again. Love Dades Gorge. Was there 6 yrs ago. We've just left Ouarzazate Ait Benhaddou and Taliounne and come onto Agadir for flight home. This city is a culture shock to the system plus temp dropped from 36 ish to 24 25 on the coast.
    Anyway I discovered u guys because I was researching Georgia and Armenia and I loved what u showed. I'm going there in Sept.
    Really glad to hear you're going to Montenegro as I have started researching this country along with Bulgaria Kosova and Armenia for my 50th next Yr!!
    Look forward to seeing your next lot of travels.

      Yeah it was certainly close but all part of the adventure, Izzy might say otherwise 🤣🙏

    do you know that there is sobhana allah a great resemblance between you and an American friend of Morocco who has a channel on TH-cam (Middle Aged Runaway)

    So... I edited my comment and now it has been lost. So, quick comment then a longer one.
    At about 8:20 in this video it would have been so much easier with exterior security cameras. One on each corner of your box and you would know exactly how much clearance you had. WIll cost maybe 200 pounds? Not sure, but well worth it. Also, one down low on either side? Worth its wait in gold on the kinds of roads you travel on.

    • @TheGapDecaders
      @TheGapDecaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kevin, really annoying when that happens.
      Yeah not a bad shout, we're intending to build a new truck next year so may well consider it then.
      I think my only hesitation is having they ripped off with branches but we'll see what’s on the market at that time.
      We're heading to the overland show at Bad Kissingen, Germany in two weeks time so I'm sure we'll check them out there too.
      Cheers Kev 👍🏻😀

    • @kevinhasker
      @kevinhasker ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheGapDecaders Better to have a cheap camera ripped off than damage your rig? Seriously, I know with the roll bars on your current rig its not that big of a deal to run into something, but don't forget the ease of mind. And security cameras for when you park in sketchy areas.
      For me the mere size (and experience driving in TR) means I will have them for sure. Ever driven from Kas to Bodrum? Our Turkish drivers needed a smoke after that one--in cars!

    • @TheGapDecaders
      @TheGapDecaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinhasker Absolutely love that drive, we did it Sep last year.
      Yeah, we've definitely talked about the security aspect more than the driving side.
      I know the technology is improving all the time and as you say it's fairly inexpensive.

    • @kevinhasker
      @kevinhasker ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheGapDecaders 🤣 Either you are a loony or we're not talking about the same drive. TR built a by-pass road since we drove it (in the 2000's), and I think I meant the road between Kalkan and Kas. Winding along the cliff suspended about 300 meters above the water? It was insane. And buses did it all the time! My friends were fried in SUV's.
      But seriously, security/driving cameras. How much will you spend on the rig? How much extra would that be? And how many times a year would you like to be reassured about your clearance on the sides or top. Heck I can think of at least three times in Morocco alone I would have wanted it. For me its a no brainer.
      EDIT: 15:08 You did an awesome job, but Izzy wouldn't even have gotten out of the truck with cameras.

    • @TheGapDecaders
      @TheGapDecaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinhasker Hi Kev, yeah we've not done that road but it sounds right up my street 😀 (if not Izzy's 😫).
      Definitely interested in the camera's, the technology these days is so good and it'll be interesting to see what's on offer at the show.
      You've sold it already to Izzy 😂

    Have been watching your videos because we are heading that way in the new year. You have mentioned diesel but how easy is it to get LPG?

    • @TheGapDecaders
      @TheGapDecaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Josephine, there's no pumped LPG in Morocco, so if you've got a refillable system such as Gas Low, you won't be able to replenish it.
      Buying bottled (Moroccan) gas is cheap and plentiful in various sizes.

    Cool to see the bikers. That was super close. I heard scrapping sounds in my mind.
    That bridge was narrow. But the over hanging rocks messed me up more.
    There are some incredible vista's.
    But it feels to dry for me. I get the feeling of popping my tounge on the roof of my mouth and just sand and dust would come out ...

    I could tell you were excited in anticipation of driving the Dades Gorge and, judging by your filming and your reactions, it certainly didn't disappoint. The scenery looked stunning, a highlight of your Morocco trip perhaps?
    Some of those overhangs did look very tight and it is a wonder you didn't scrape your truck. I guess you can judge better from the driving seat but it looked a bit hairy on screen.
    I think I have said it before but you have certainly wetted my appetite at least for a Moroccan adventure. Thanks Phil and Izzy.😊

    • @TheGapDecaders
      @TheGapDecaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter, thank you and yes we really enjoyed the whole Dades experience...it definitely didn’t disappoint.
      Funny enough, that day continues into what became my most memorable day on that trip, and always lovely to meet other people appreciating these places too.
      It was tight, only a couple of inches, but always have to play it down with Izzy 😉
      There really is a whole other side to Morocco, particularly by the coast and many other attractions that you'd enjoy touring at your leisure.
      Thanks Peter 👍🏻😀

    Jackie is wondering if all of Morocco is a one-way system with those narrow roads!! 😂
    Great video, but I'd rather have a motorbike on those beautiful hairpins!! 😅
    Have fun!! J and D 😎
