  • As the global population surges to 10 billion, the challenge of climate change and sustainable construction intensifies, particularly in rapidly growing regions like Africa.
The Centre for Worldwide Sustainable Construction is at the forefront of this movement, revolutionising the industry with innovations like LC3 cement, which slashes emissions by 40% and uses locally sourced materials.
While cement contributes 8% of global CO2 emissions, LC3 can significantly reduce its environmental impact by replacing CO2-heavy clinker with abundant clay. Instead of solely depending on timber, which would require vast forests, we’re pioneering a smarter approach that blends mineral resources with recycling.
