I was about to give up all my personal possessions and get a micro camper till he mentioned having to get up in the middle of the night and face the elements just to use the bathroom 😂
A lot of people are moving toward a more mobile living situation, absolutely no shame in that. I just bought a truck and will be purchasing a RV at the end of this month to live out of full time. I'm very excited to be able to travel on my own accord and I'll be coming down to Jacksonville from Minnesota to train at Hybrid soon! Looking forward to hearing more about your mobile endeavors.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! Sometimes it’s really scary to change your lifestyle so drastically… but this motivates me to try no matter what!
Got questions:🤔 1. Did you give yourself a time duration like "I'm gonna do this for 1-2" years" kind of thing or it's more of "I'll see as time moves"? 2. You obviously weighed things out before taking the step. Just curious if this has positively or negatively affected your relationship with friends/ family / gf. Asking this in the most respectful way I can 🙆♀
I'm going to see how it goes as time moves on, but definitely feel like based on how it goes I'll be doing this at least the next year or two! Friends and family always find it so interesting. I do not have a girlfriend--would not have been possible if I did haha
I love your reasoning for doing this. I have been thinking about living more of a minimalist lifestyle to the point of building a miniature home somewhere. I also like the idea of being more mobile and just having more freedom. It always feels like I am being weighed down by how much stuff I own and trapped with my apartment lease. It's just so much money that could be better used on experiences, saving to build my own home and pursuing my dreams and goals in life.
I agree with so much of this, enjoyed hearing this from you. Used a patriot camper (from Australia )and loved that. I bought a mid-sized school bus late last year and I am loving it! (also shower at Planet fitness) The experiences are so much more valuable than "stuff". All trails app is helpful for hiking.
#BondeJohnson I am really worried about Dan. I’m seriously not trying to be nosy but that girl was so rude to him when you were filming at a competition. I know he said he was going to take some time, but I also remember him saying he gets in his head and struggles. Please let him know that he is not alone in that and we live his channel, your channel and it just feels like he is really down. Just concerned that he is okay. Thanks.
i have a square drop camper from Hiker. i love it. i could see myself living on the road in it. i just have too much scrap to take with me at the moment!
@@bonde.johnson yeah, very nice camper. they have a ton of options also. you can get one for 8,000 or 20,000 depending on what options you go with. i use mine doing normal camping up here in Michigan. so i went with the Highway Deluxe with a couple options and got mine for just under 9,000.
I feel a lot of camaraderie with your mindset. For me it wasn't an initial conscious choice. I was renting a house super cheap from my gf's dad and one night while I was working nights, at 3am or so something shorted in the basement electrical and the house went up in flames. I was very lucky to not be there. Lost two dogs and 3 cats in the fire but I gained the perspective that you have now. When you lose "everything" you realize that a lot of the things you've collected that you thought were important really aren't that important at all. Best of luck on your journey!

I can deeply identify. Thanks for sharing! Glad to see somebody else making these decisions from a non-captive mindset!

How are you supporting this lifestyle?
Starting a business as a mobile RV service technician/inspector. You can get certified through the NRVTA in as little as 4 weeks

House expenses do add up when your roommates drive through the garage door and into the water heater 🥴😪

Ahem-the pee bottle is a guy’s personal potty system while camping during rainy nights…of course-that also comes with its own challenges 🤣
How are you doing laundry?
I suspect either friends & family, or trips to a laundromat would get the job done.❤
Buy an EarthRoamer, and you'll be fine. Lol!
No judgment. Try therapy. It might help.
What does your girl friend thinks.
Your videos are interesting. I think you would be even more effective if you slowed down your speech.
