What did you guys think of my office day? 😇
I am hungry now...
Late lol Japanese not gonna like this unless u work in a company full of westerners.....
Very nice👍
Convenience stores in Japan sell the new items every Tuesday or Wednesday🏪
almost all the smile and energy been deprived from this gril.and the world gov told us to fall in love with the working part😅😅😅
Happy Monday!!!!!
I like how the thumbnail was the starting shot of the video. That looked cool when it autoplayed
As someone who has to BE at work by 6am, it is kind of nice to think of being able to get up and leisurely have breakfast or coffee. Your work is very laid back and nice. The good thing about my day is how early I am off so I have a lot of free time in the afternoons.
This is the first chanel that really explaned how to move to japan with all recuirements you need. Than you seerasan
❤
It was very interesting to see what a normal day at the office is as well. As someone who is still in school it’s cool to see the process
Such a fun video, really cool to see what your days look like! Also Sarah as always is gorgeous but glasses on is a VIBE!!! Love it! Thanks for the awesome videos you have shared recently! 🙏🏻
Sarah is a treasure of a person. Also, I didn't think she does so much behind the scenes stuff in TC!
This was such a fun vlog! Way to take something mundane and typical like going to an office and buying coffee and making it fun and entertaining!
The convenience store trip was fun, i always enjoy seeing all the food they have. It was quite interesting to see what an office day looks like at TC.
15:56 that’s exactly me as well, people would get mad or tired of my orders because i keep buying the same stuff over and over, they would ask me if i wasn’t bored of the same food all the same time!!
Kudos for learning the language, surviving and sharing
Really enjoyed this bit of a different behind the scenes at TC! Looks like a pretty good office day!
this office is so cool - it looks like a startup but without the pressure and BS!
My office day is earphones in, podcasts/audiobooks on, eye contact and interactions with others kept to the bare minimum.
I also work in Marketing, in Canada though. I have worked from home since January of 2020. Its nice in a lot of ways, but I do miss just interacting with coworkers or going to lunch. But I don't miss my commute to the office (1H to 1H 15M) one way every day.
Yep the commute is awful, never going back, life is so much better with WFH
Love these chatty kind of day in the life vlogs! I stayed in Hamamatsucho area in October and so sad I didn't know about that cute coffee shop! I also love one ok rock, good taste Sarah!
I recently discovered you, I think you have a great personality - very chill and happy. I hope your channel keeps growing
Thank you so much 💜☺️
毎回一目惚れ!
I love to see other people's workdays......probably because mine feels so unconventional. I work in a veterinary laboratory and we are so short-staffed. Usually, I either bring lunch and go eat in my car or, if things are super-busy, one of my colleagues and I place a to-go order from somewhere close and pick it up. She's about to retire though, so I'll probably be eating while I work for a while after she leaves.
It actually reminds me of my last job. I listen to smooth jazz during the day even when I was in the office. This is a really cool video. Kampai!!
いつも拝見しています🌱
これからも頑張ってくださいね🙌🏻❣️
So good for you live and work in Japan, I love Japan specially Kyoto ❤
I love this! I work in an office in the Midwest in the US, so I always find it interesting how other places in the world do office work!
My sister works in St Louis Missouri
そうですね、私も固定概念を消して世界の尊敬ある人々を参考にする事は勉強になるし会社にとってもプラスになるのでやり甲斐があります👍
Your job looks really cool! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you for giving us a sneak peek into your office life. I've worked in a major marketing agency and I'm currently doing freelance work by creating content for social media for clients. I recently got a vlogging camera and I've been playing around with making videos. I have intermediate level Japanese and am still working on spoken Japanese. I am planning on relocating to Japan for work in the next year. This kind of job seems perfect for my experience.
Fascinating! I love visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and so many cities in Japan and I have always wondered what it would be like to live/work there!! I enjoyed your info and thoughts so much! Your work area sounds interesting! I’m a psychologist! Love it! Loving what we do matters A LOT!! Cheers!!
That 口寂しい is real, especially when you're sitting at your desk doing simple tasks.
YES. That’s the perfect word to describe it hahaha
so nice to see you guys upgraded your office!
Wow! So interesting! Thanks for sharing your office day!
a different and much nicer work experence that most i see.
Same like you its just 3 days a week for me. Good thing to have some stores around for going out on breaks. Good vid!
Very chill and easygoing video, love it
I always like behind the scenes videos 👏
I like your choice of main dish for your lunch - looks yummy
Hi! New to your channel- love this!!! You’re so lucky to live in Japan and work there.. I want to travel there one day.. great video! 😊 thanks for sharing.
14:41
Makes you happy.
That’s what counts!
Life’s too short to not splurge.
Really liked this video 🙏❤️
It seems to be very relaxed creative environment thanks for sharing
i really enjoyed this video because it's a very realistic expectation of what to expect when working in japan. it's honestly very similar to.. pretty much every other country. also, i've been a big fan of tokyo creative for at least the past 5 years and i'm gonna be scouting for open positions in 2 years after i finish japanese language school 🙏
Interesring, working in Japan 🇯🇵 & sink'in the experience of work atmosphere there ☕ 💻 🍱
I came to self plug my TH-cam video😂😂, but stayed for the content. What a comprehensive, re-wachable video. Great job. 🎉🎉
Coffee is life, coffee is worldwide ☕
love your commitment to coffee, as an Aussie it's embedded deep in my blood stream. Also since i work in a Datacentre i work in a very loud environment so good nose cancelling headphones are a must so i can listen to metal (especially babymetal) without listening to the 90db+ sounds of the datacentre
I’ve just recently bought 2 noise cancelling products and never going back to without now 😂 also nice choice with babymetal 🙌
Good to see your TH-cam Channel. Yeh!
Hey! I go to the office twice a week sometime three. Always take my lunch cos it’s expensive to eat out in Australia!! I do buy coffee. My work day is busy answering questions all day long. I like it best when there is no one there and I can tune out to music!! Thanks for sharing 😊
I'm listening to THIS as I do my online journalism and editing. This and (lately) Noir-inspired blues.
Nice to see behind the scene action! Last time when I had office work they had cafeteria and food restaurant in the bottom floor. In this age I try avoid pizza and too heavy meals (even if they are so delicious). It is odd that there are so few ordinary food restaurants specialized for healthy family cooking in my area.
Hi Seersan , I love your video I have just watched . Your office looks so relaxed :) I am currently going to start my own drop shipping business ( well try to anyway) hope you have a lovely working week I look forward to your next video xx
Awesome Seera! Looks like such a fun day. I work from home so my office is my room lol. Its very comfy but I dont go out to eat at all. Its all home cooked meals. Kinda boring but I save so much money.
Konbini bread looking unreasonably good 👍🏼
so nice to have aussie coffee near the office! otherwise lawson's coffee is also really good
I go into the office once a week and it usually costs me $25 for food because San Francisco is expensive! Loved this day at the office video!
Sometimes just buying food (even if it's pricey) gives you that peace of mind & less stress.. I've heard SF is quite expensive 😅
@@seerasan yeah I look forward to eating out. Even if it’s pricey.
In Spain and Germany we prepare our food at home the day before and bring it to the office the next day. Coffee is then available in the office and we don't have to buy it.
Younger colleagues who can't cook well or don't feel like it go out to buy something. Mostly rolls or baguettes.
the office is much better than previous one🎉
Hi Sarah, I only recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying the videos immensely! I'm considering my first visit to Japan, and I was wondering your opinion about English only speaking folks like myself being able to successfully navigate around Japan but being dependent on my phone for translation when situations arise? I'd appreciate your thoughts! Thanks so much for putting out these videos!
WOW, I'm japanese, But didn't know that Hamamatsu cho got Byron bay coffee shop 👀☕ !I will definitely check in Byron bay Coffee shop next time I flying in to Japan 🗾. Thank you for up loading this & please enjoy everything you can experience in Japan 😀
セーラさんは行動力スゴいですね。
As an European, that is a nice and comfy looking office!
Curious what European offices are like!
@@seerasandepends on the country and company of course. Im from Germany and most offices i worked were pretty similar to yours
yooo, ワンオクロック is 🔥
I had the opportunity to work at a Japanese location for a few days last year. Layout is similar to US HQ and the culture is also American. But I prefer the Japanese snacks over US snacks. Senbei over Welsh fruit snacks and lots of green tea options.
Can you imagine working in the same office for years! Reminds me of "The Office"
Your office day looks like office days here in NYC! Except we have the crappy 7-11's, No Lawsons, and expensive lunches. Totally get the combini runs....when I'm in Japan I always grab a ton of stuff at the combini and every time I visit there is always something new to snack on. Most people don't cook here either.. .its a big city kind of thing!
Since you asked, I work in data entry, with little or no human interaction. So I have TH-cam playing on a little window on one of my monitors, and headphones. I like the open plan of your office.
First of all I enjoy the TC content and the personal (English) content from TC staff. Thanks for sharing your day. What keyboard and mouse are you using? Thanks!
Thank you! Both are Apple products :)
I definitely feel you on the spending money thing when going into the office. I work in San Francisco, we have lots of amazing coffee shops, cafes and little restaurants for lunch so we always eat out. Haha
It’s fun just trying something new each office day right 😍
Speaking of red bean croissant, at Tsukiji Market near the tamagoyaki shop there’s an old bakery that sell some pretty good azuki croissants when they come out fresh. However the last time I was there was 2018, so I’m not sure if they still make/sell it
When I was in Japan I fell in love with Ito En jasmine green tea! It was unsweet but the jasmine gave it a natural subtle sweetness, it was sooo yummy! When I got back to America I was lucky enough to find one of our local Asian markets that carries it! I miss a good Lawson and 711 😅
Much love from Arizona
I really love that same one too! Jasmine tea is so addictive, especially in the summer!
@@seerasan it really is! I've found a good loose leaf green tea with jasmine that I can brew at home. It saves me a bunch of money because I can drink a liter a day probably 😅
your glasses look great,
I work from the office 2 days a week, I've been thinking of sharing it on TH-cam but there's so many day in the life cyber security videos already! 😂
thank you sarah, thank you natural lawson 😃
Ha! I stayed 1 minute around the corner from that Byron Bay coffee shop in August - didn't realise the new office was there!
No way! Funny coincidence 😆
first for seerasan x3
Just discovered you great vlog
Lovin the Emma/Sarah Era of total TC Domination! Also, please no less of that, but also more of Shah and Jordan also please. Also "Yeah, you guys are on cr*ck " hahahahaha
This is my first time around here! Loved the video it was awesome! Just curious, how long did it take you to learn the language???
It’s interesting you eat at your desk in Japan. In Korea we always eat out with our colleagues during lunch 😆
I will recommend you try a protein rich lunch as your body will break down the food slower also overnight oats are a great way to start the morning with these two modifications you won't snack as much.
Please send some of that winter cold here, it's been an absolute scorcher here in Aus, I need a break from summer already 😂
Omg, I listen to music at work too. I listen to One Ok Rock as well. It keeps me at ease.
I had never worked in office a day in my life, always been an outside field guy myself. Frankly I feel nervous in one thinking I have some paperwork to do. However you have nice causal day it seems.
original Terran StarCraft soundtrack for productivity at work. if you’re into that kind of thing
Who knew banana bread and coffee was an Australian food 🤷🤷
hahaha pretty sure that id BS, but ill take it
Interesting video! I have to admit, before watching this, I had no idea what Tokyo Creative actually was, even though I watch pretty much all their videos, I just viewed it as a "Tokyo based youtube-channel" without really thinking more about it.
Also a bit curious on the coffee situation. Swedish offices (at least where I've worked or visited) often have coffee machines offering free coffee to employees and/or visitors, but seeing how that wasn't the case here, I'm getting curious about how it usually is in Japan and other countries.
I've only worked with TC in Japan, but we don't have a coffee machine.. or free water 😅
not sure if it's our company or a Japan thing haha
American here. My old job had a Keurig machine with free coffee. Before the pandemic, my current job had a "coffee club" you could pay into for a couple dollars a month for company coffee, but they stopped that because now everyone has flexible in-office days. I couldn't say which is more common in offices (free coffee or no free coffee) - but I'm guessing the majority of office jobs in the US don't have free coffee.
Yeah we have free coffee at the office too (Finland) with several machines (juras and moccamasters) but unless your company's like super into coffee as a whole, I doubt it's gonna be as good as a specialty coffee shop like in the video. People still drink the free stuff and offer it to visitors (out of habit) but it's not like anyone goes to enjoy a cup because it's good : D I guess it's a nice gesture tho.
@@seerasan wait, you don't have a tap at the office?
Are coffee machines or little kitchens where you could make yourself a brew not a thing in Japan? Could save a lot of money on coffee breaks.
We don't really have either of these 😭 At one of the others offices we worked at, they had an instant coffee machine but that also cost $1-1.5 per cup lol
So nerdy and awesome accent
Seems like a really relaxed and nice environment :) Have you tried covering more normal Japan office work? looking at your Japanese workday makes me not like my Japanese workday very much LOL
love it
I have an office job and I listen to vaporwave/mallsoft/video game music mixes. My job is pretty boring and the office a morgue so the music really helps.
In the office I listen to Amazon Music. Mainly country music.
Totally different vibe, office mode!
I have a similar job, I create videos for companies to promote what they sell but I do it from home, I'm glad to see there are similar jobs in tokyo, I hope I can move one day
The face you are making at 15:48 is very relatable.
Love the behind the scenes videos like this. Curious how much the commuting costs in addition to eating out on office days and is remote work common in Japan?
Almost all Japanese companies actually pay for transport to and from the office! Which is really nice 🙌 remote work is quite common nowadays, but there’s definitely a shift for everyone to slowly go back into the office (based off my other friends experience working here)
omg i know your channel tokyo creative, JOhn daub is a real man of the people
those milk rolls are insane!
living the dream
I walked pass Byron Bay coffee everyday when I was in Tokyo last month. I should have tried it. I will definitively go next time and give a try. :) :)
Is Jordan still with TC? Havnt seen him in ages.
You have such a chill office environment 🥺 I work in Tokyo too and my office is kinda strict, no music, no headphones, no talking etc 💦
I have a small channel too and I Film my office days but sadly I’m not allowed to Film inside the office 🥺
I have a feeling you’re going to go from behind the camera/scenes to in front of it. Amazing video!
I recognized the cat gummies in your lunch haul. I get them here in the US - so yummy.
Sooo tasty right!! 😺
