I love that Freeman values real reps and playing time for as many players as he can get in. Refreshing to see so many young guys in there. Don’t think for a second that didn’t play into scoring on that last drive before the end of the half.

ND Class of 86. We have hungered anxiously for decades for the Irish to have a stud QB and a real ND quality head coach. At long last we might finally have both, we shall see in the next few weeks but I sense the optimistic mood of the ND faithful. Go Irish

Idk if the football team had a chance to go, but part Kylemore Abbey is leased by ND for their study abroad programs. You can actually live there if you study abroad. I hope the team went there. If they thought Dublin was great, Kylemore Abbey is one of the prettiest places on the planet.

Player-led leadership is much easier to foster in a team whose coach provides the blueprint. freeman is the real deal and his players will play hard for him and each other. love this squad and it’s a shame Bk and tommy didn’t poach hartman sooner. gotta use the portal when we need it. repeatable model. having hartman in the QB room will make the QBs under him better. whether they’re good enough to take the reigns next year or not.
Question is if Hartman actually would have come to BK. Freeman is clearly one reason why he chose ND. I find it hard to believe he'd get along w a guy like BK or vise versa.

Interesting. BK found a lot of time to get better at golf. Pretty sure he was a scratch golfer by the time he took the LSU job.
This was the best podcast I have ever seen! Coach Freeman is so smart and so cool I absolutely love him. Freeman and Sam are so close! I have a good feeling about Freeman, he will win a National Championship, I’m 64 and thought I’d never see it coming again, fan since 1966. This was great, Thank you sir for sharing!
Interesting that the football players never eat in either of the dining halls. Not sure that I like that.
Are you an alum? I am and am guessing that they really want to monitor the diet of the players all year. As you know the players live in the dorms with the students etc. Go Irish
@@007ndc Yes, I am an alum. I know why they do it, but I think it detracts from the idea that the players are students like everyone else. I guess some things have to be sacrificed to have a team of national championship calibre.
The vibe was different on Saturday, TSU band > ND band.. wasn’t particularly comparable.. ppl need to take off their clover colored glasses.. TSU band was amazing even sitting in the upper bowl they sounded crisp and clear the entire game.

@@jonnybaze7449 Alabama has just had the most dominant dynasty in the entire history of the sport. They have 6 recent National Championship trophies to back that up and they have a very great chance of getting recent National Title #7 this year. ND has not even won a National Title in 35 years. One program is consistently nationally relevant and the other is not. The two programs are not comparable.
@@jasonh5547 cool. Don’t care about the queens of the south. Steroids and pay for play are very effective. ND has championships in 1989, 1993, 2012 and 2018 that you are forgetting to count. So you are way off on 35 years. Bama only has 18*, ND has 23… step your game up lol. Both are among the most relevant programs. They are definitely not comparable ND>the queens of the south.
@@jonnybaze7449 Can you explain in what universe ND has championships in 1993, 2012 and 2018? I seem to remember at least in the 2012-13 season that Bama pretty much soundly defeated ND in the National Title game.
Blake Fisher would be even better as a guard.. please don’t hate me for that take but in the NFL I guarantee they move him.
