OMG. I've read that work from a free only magazine. I couldn't print it, though. I hope the author can actually do a paperback so I can have a cosy copy to hand.

These people talks and sings like the Calabar or Ijaw of Nigeria. I wonder if it is because they are so close to those areas in Nigeria from Cameroun? Just a border across from Cameroun. Interesting people of Cameroun, I would think they would be talking in French!
this is the tribe of BAKWERI from BUEA. WE speak 2 languages. English language as first language but we are bilingual with French as secondary in this section. I don’t know if I’ve said it clearly but both languages are our official languages.
@@sangopastor9029 Thanks, but the language used in this song is not English or French. You tried but not exactly. The language is very similar to the CALABAR of Nigeria. Very, very, close to the Calabar and I would say, no difference.
@@davemcdan8324 Thank you, thank you, I appreciate this information. Africa, my Africa. I love our cultures so much!!! With the name Usak-Edet, I envision they are closer to the Calabari people. I am from Edo/Benin in Nigeria, my brother!!!
This dance and the music are so powerful. I was brought here here due to my curiosity about Cameroon, after reading Bleeding Stubs (by Besong).
I don't know which part of Cameroon this is, but I should visit Yaounde soon. I hope it is not too far from Bakweri land.
@@LindalineBush-yp6cc Welcome to our land.
