Welcome! In today's video, we explore the recently renovated and newly named Nama Bengaluru Aquarium, located in the heart of Bangalore.

📅 History:
Originally established in 1983 as the Government Aquarium, Nama Bengaluru Aquarium is now the second largest aquarium in India and is operated by the Karnataka State Government.
🔄 Recent Renovations:
The aquarium has undergone extensive renovations to improve the visitor experience and enhance the exhibits. The upgraded facilities include modernized tanks, better lighting, and interactive displays.
🐠 Exhibits:
Nama Bengaluru Aquarium features a wide variety of freshwater and marine species. Some of the exotic fish on display include Siamese Fighters, Freshwater Prawns, Catla, Goldfish, Red Tail Shark, and various types of Gourami.
🏛 Structure:
Housed in an octagonal-shaped building, the aquarium has two floors: the ground floor with large tanks for bigger fish and the first floor with smaller tanks for ornamental fish.
🎓 Educational Value:
The aquarium serves as an educational site for school and college students, providing insights into aquatic biodiversity and conservation.
🕙 Visiting Hours:
Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Mondays and the second Tuesday of each month.
