You took piano lessons, huh? The only lessons I took were 3 years of TH-cam Scrolls and Music Theory. Your hand placement is more professional than mine.
@@johnwebb4499 yeah I took a few years of private lessons when I started. Roughly from like 1998-2001. It was all theory and performance pieces. Improv I figured out on my own for the most part.
@@jayswizzle57 I played piano for 3 years with the wrong hand placement. But, now that I know there's a better way, I can't switch. I divert back to my own way. The difference is you can feel the keys. I have to look.
@@johnwebb4499 I’d recommend scales. Major and minor both melodic and natural. And pentatonic scales are the most fun and sound awesome. Work on those with correct fingering and hopefully you’ll replace bad habits with good ones.
