Hi Richard, thanks for enjoying our cover! We recorded this song even more than a year ago now... I don't remember exactly what mic model I used on cajon, but typically, I use two dynamic mics. One for higher frequency and another for lower frequency. And I put some hard compression with EQ when I mix the audio tracks.
