    He took a life due to his addiction. And now he is out saving lives .So many people needed to hear this. I hope that God continues to make him a blessing to others.

      No. The gun went off accidentally. He tried to pay someone to take the blame, hence cover up, that's why he went to prison. Had zero to do with addiction. People in military are killed by accident often.

      Alcohol isn't the problem it's the other stuff that people don't get resolved or know how to coop with. Alcohol is just the key to open the door to problems that need to be resolved from people's past. He gave up alcohol but replaced it with staying busy his problem is still there he just replaced it with something positive but that's still not helping him.

    I really hope charlemange gets to read this. You need sensitivity training. You shouldn't bombard suicidal people with suicide questions. Often its best for them not to think about suicide even in peaceful and happy times because hard times will always come back.

    I lived right next to Jayson when he played for Philadelphia and the guy was the man. He took me to a pizza shop in his Lamborghini Diablo. Can’t tell you how cool I felt as a 10 year old.

    One of the bravest most introspective and heartbreakingly honest interviews I have seen in a while. Man, I have a hard time getting over my defensiveness and passive aggressive behavior in general and this man (I repeat, man) opened up about his present darkness. He needs us and I need him. My hero in this moment. Keep moving, keep fighting and know that despite it all you are doing what you need to do.

    He reminds me of my dad who passed away this year and had some of the same issues he had dealing with addiction and guilt of past decisions. I pray he can heal and grow. This is deep and important for us to remember that we are not immune to life happening so we all need to be vigilant to make the best choices possible so that we never live with regret.

    I sincerely pray that he eventually finds peace and healing he has started the process it will be hard but I pray he gets through this that is a heavy burden my prayers are with him and his limo drivers family this is heartbreaking and even more to watch I pray all is well Mr Williams! 😊😊
