in the U.S. there is a traffic law that says that emergency vehicles have the right of way and that others should pull off to the sides and make way. does this same traffic law exist in the Philippines and is it widely known?
It's quite obvious that you have not been to the Philippines. The traffic is a nightmare, road rules are almost non existent and rarely policed. It is a nightmare trying to drive on their roads. Every man for himself. You can see by the way the traffic is banked up, motorbikes and pedestrians everywhere.
Credits to the fire truckers for doing their best to reach the place on fire. To bad they had so many humps, tricycle, and motorbikes ignoring the emergency sounds of all those trucks. They even had to make u turn because of those private subdivisions that have walls in between to separate em. A very long turns. If any of those will obstruct fire could be over before they got to far
wow it took these guys forever to get to this fire scene, here in the USA about 3 to 5 and a city the size of New York about 7 lol i couldn't believe how long they were rolling to this fire and by the way how many stations , engine/pumpers and aerial ladder trucks do they have their anyway , in that city , could someone please tell me Thanks Tony j. USA
These are volunteer firetrucks from the City of Pasig. The Fire scene was in the City of Muntinlupa, almost 25 kilometers away from their home base. They help augment the units already on the scene.
Why does nobody give way/yield to emergency vehicles, they need to make it a law so it can be enforced more. Some tried but not enough. It needs to be like Germany, USA, Canada and Japan
Japan ??? Is without a shadow of doubt the worst I have ever seen for driver ill-discipline. I stood outside a fire station in Tokyo with a major alarm call ongoing and it took the first appliance over 4 minutes to get out of the station, that was with lights and sirens in use trying to force their way into the traffic. Car Drivers (and others) simply refused to give way and let the appliances out of the station and into the traffic. When they finally got out A PEDESTRIAN walked into the middle of the road and stood with his hands up before anyone would give way. Once they started to get into the traffic, 8 vehicles were dispatched onto the call. Japanese Drivers, especially in Tokyo are some of the worst I have ever seen for being Selfish.
I have traveled a lot and some cities are worse than others. You can have polite drivers in one place, and aggressive drivers in another within the same country.

nabitin ako meron ba katuloy ito? papost naman! subscribe to your channel! Finally nasagot narin ang isa sa mga tanong ko, ano ang pakiramdam ng nasa loob ng fire truck habang rumeresponde sa sunog. Nice!!!
Andy how will that ruin a Q siren? It's just an electric motor, starting up and shutting down is the hardest thing an electric motor does. Think about tornado sirens they run for long periods of time, and it does no damage. Same concept.
Andy I rebuild these sirens, it will not hurt them. the weakest link is the motor starter which is similar to a starter solenoid. you are ignorant, probably 12 and still live with mommy and daddy, or you're a sad troll with no life.
Shawtawt kay koyang mga guard ng waltermart na may kapartner na traffic enforcer na parehong mali turo hahaha kasalanan talaga nila e. Laking oras ang nasayang.
They use them the way they want to and if one firetruck driver wants to leave the siren on so be it and that is what you call preference!. Some use a wailing tone and others use the steady long note so its their fire service so get used to it!
Holy crap those guys that drive those fire apparatus are maniacs but man they know they have major skills.
The Spotter is on top have the best ride I wish I was over there
never really knew how dang cool looking the buses are there
They are called Jeepneys in the Philippines. Colourful, customized and loved by their owners.

Yup because its emergency vehicle
Hate to tell you this spock, but even in the US the law is not really enforced.

They're volunteers from farther places within the Metro area.

@@philyew3617 Check other response videos of Japan, you'll be suprised, that's not the truth. Japanese drivers are disciplined.
