I’m more of a writing talent (😂), so this kind of hobby is beyond my brain’s capabilities. But if my brain were wired differently, i think i would enjoy a hobby like this…looks very fun and rewarding😁
DAVID I've told you before this is beyond a work of art this is like the da'vinci of robots seeing this as given me much needed shot in the arm to get mine back on track!! Bill C.
Thanks for the nice words. As far as the cost of building one, that's hard to nail down. It all depends on how accurate you want it, what you want it to do and how much you can build or make on your own. I d saw the low end would be a couple thousand dollars, high end would be over 20K. There is a company called Gotham Cruisers that builds licensed full sized B9 Robots out of high quality and accurate parts. I think they charge around 17K,
David, Great job on the bubble and brain. I have a question on the lights inside the brain. I am building a 1/6th scale Robot and am adding some extra SMD LEDs into the brain of the robot, currently these LEDs are white, should they be some other color ? I noticed that you said you tinted your eyes blue, was there any other color besides white that was used during the TV series ? Thank you for your time. Rich
+Deathwolf Smith Hi Rich, Sorry for the delay with my reply. The original lights in the hero robot's brain from the TV show were all white Incandescent light bulbs. Although I'm a big purest in matters that are important to me I felt I wanted the "eyes" of my B9 to have a blue tint. Not Original but it gies it some contract and "I" like it. After all it is my robot. LOL.
+David Schulpius David, your right after all it is your robot. I am adding 3 SMD LEDs (warm white) to the brain of my Moebius 1/6 scale B9. I like your thoughts behind the blueish eyes, sounds like I might be following in your foot steps. That you for the advice. I will be putting up some video of my B9 in a few weeks when I get the arms or the bubble completed. Thank you again for your knowledge and advice about the B9 Robot. I am sure we will be talking again.

Dick Tufeld's voice will be heard forever now!
Beautiful! Wondering what you used for the clear glass/plastic dome?
would like to have one. awesome job on it.
That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Are there kits like this to build?
Sorry brother, This is all in my head.
I am very impressed, Just Curious how much would it cost to build one of those?

@DavidSchulpius Thanks for the email and for telling me about that company. because I don't think I'd be able to build this myself.
@@timgann5889 No worries. Here's their direct link. I can vouch that these guys are top notch.

that is amazing.
It is now 2018 and some one will design, make and use one for real. The ultimate house buddy while you travel the cosmos.

+Deathwolf Smith I'll be watching for your vid. Sounds really cool.
what would happen if someone built one with laser circuits?
I have no idea. It would probably be real cool if it worked.
nobody gets the body texture surface finish right...the B9 body had a very unrefined rough mat texture.
:). he aint a bubble headded boobey.
