Hey everyone. This Boothill Experience was kinds fun.
Today, a banner featuring Boothill was released, which means I'll be sharing my gameplay experience with him.
Firstly, Boothill scales with Break Effect, so he needs as much of it as possible.
Secondly, he excels at dealing damage to a single target and delivers significant damage overall. This makes him nearly perfect for boss setups. However, he requires very specific team compositions.

That's a forking hand Canon if you ask me and I like it.
Boothill does say that the revolver's both for taking out small fry and drawing in bigger fish, so his finger gun being stronger makes sense.

I'm still building him, but I put him with Harmony MC, Aventurine and Sparkle, but I wasn't sure if to Change Sparkle for someone else like Tingyun or something.

it took all of my tickets to get Boothill up to E1 alongside with his light cone too that is up to Lvl2.
I pre-farmed for him and now I have a monster of a son with 244% break effect.
He is only one character that I have build to have this much of break effect 🤣

Got him in the first ten pulls! Then got his signa for 80
a weakness of Boothill I noticed is that he needs to be the one to break the enemy to get the token buff, also you need to be careful with using his skill because if you locked on to say an elite enemy without his buffs up or prior to giving Physical Weakness via Ult you are going to basically waste his time for 2 turns
The first one is actually wrong. He can only get the token if the enemy he is in standoff with either gets their toughness broken or they die. It doesn't matter who did it, the only condition is for them to be in standoff.

So i have a small question about team comps.. :< since i was dumb enough to skip Ruan Mei and am forced to skip her again in upcoming ones..
Would the Comp of Boothill, Bronya, Harmony MC & Aventurine be sufficient? (at least until i get my gallagher built up)
Yeah, you don’t need ruan mei with him. I tried the team you mentioned but with Gallagher instead of aventurine and I 2 cycled moc 12 really easily. So go for it 😊

I won 5050 and I'm guaranteed for his lc I've only lost 2 character banner 5050's- I've won 6 5050's got kafka at 12-15 pity on her first banner and got her e1 on her rerun. If it makes you feel better tho my luck on lc banner is.... decent

Im in a bit of a dileyman you see, I lost the 50/50 to Bronya e1, plus I got enough of the special shards to get her lightcone. So the question is, do I go for her with Boothill and rely on the sp generation of Ruan Mei and the sustain (either Fu Xuan or Houhou) or stick with the reliability of Harmony MC?
You can just play both, as they are both insanely good. I would just use harmony MC when there are imaginary weakness enemy’s and otherwise use bronya. But both are optimal teams

If I were you I would most definitely go for fu zuan. Bailu and Linx are incredibly mediocre and are simply not good enough for end game content like swarm or gold and gears. I get that boothill would be more fun to pull for but in the end you will get much more value out of fu xuan then him. Hope this helps!

Just a tip: I think the best abilities order is skill>ult>basic attack, since I think the skill makes the ultimate break more toughness.
