You can’t put a freezer on its side it messes with the cooling rail
its fine as long as you stand it up and wait a few hours before you plug it in. the compressor just needs enough oil in it to keep it from seizing when it first starts up. after that the oil mixes with the refrigerant and circulates around the system just fine.

We've had those ice cream vending machines for years on our train stations. During the Y2K I worked for a global IT company open 24/7 those ice cream machine were inside all 9 locations. I worked occasionally so my $5.00 credit per shift was great to accumulate.

Look for shelf stackers or baskets to keep the ice cream in so your hands don't get so cold and keep some gloves close by to wear
Love what your doing man. Just next time you buy a fridge or like an a/c dont sit it on its side. Always Keep it standing during travel. Hope it still worked for you. Another thing let it sit for an hour before plugging it. Laying it down can cause damage to the compressor due to the oils inside the compressor. Dos'nt always happen but it does happen. Just looking out for you. I mean better safe then sorry right. Shout out from San Antonio Aka Alamo City.
