- When students prepare for ssc cgl GA and GS is an important aspect of the paper. Here are a few tips and tricks by toppers to excel this section.
Students often come across various problems while preparing for the General Awareness section of the SSC CGL Exam, as it is a very vast area and requires a lot of time for preparation.
In this video, the following questions are addressed by the toppers : -

He advised to buy two books.. Lucent Publication GK and Kiran Publication SSC previous years question bank..
Then, start by simply reading a section of the Lucent GK, for example the history section..
Then try all the questions in the history section of the Kiran's book, you will probably remember that you have read these things in the Lucent but cant exactly answer those questions..
Now again visit the Lucent GK book.. and now you exactly know what portion of the history section you have to remember..
And lastly, revision is the mother of all learnings..

For Current Affairs Just Follow GK Today, you won't have to run after many sources in either exam of Banks or SSC.They holistically covers Current affairs that are totally exam oriented without Doing unnecessary Promotions and all.

In my personal experience ,I had gone to a festival near my home ,I purchased monhar pandey gk book 30/- and thought how little!!!! But, I didn't know that book was very effective ,,,,like:-( small package big dhamaka)....... brief introduction with more knowledge!!!!!!!

@@praveenbeta2087 Lucent gk and kiran publication. As 50 marks are allotted to gs out of 700, don't give much time, just revise again and again. Take previous year questions and Current affairs (grade up one liner/month and gk2day 250-260 Q's) as bible. That's all he said
