- With the Modi government's initiatives to streamline the country's skill development policy to train more workers and equip them with skills, we visit FDDI in Noida to understand why skilled manpower is highly in demand in India. Students and staff at the institute explain that the prevalent mindset among most people is that a lot of physical work doesn't involve much learning and talent and think that there is nothing to learn in footwear design. However, on the contrary, students undergo training for years and have to study several books to gain the requisite expertise in footwear design and development. (Audio in Hindi)

Obsolete skill development is of no use. There is no use of going to these centers. World is growing so fast we need to have excellent community institute like in western countries.
