That's not how you prime a pump. That's how people that watched other people, that don't know how to prime a pump. Prime a pump.
All i know is he got it to prime with the hose down a 10 foot deep hole. Most people have trouble priming with a 2 foot deep hole.

Thats how it seems to go every time. No one seems to know how to prime a trash pump, except this forman. You get like 4 guys fiddling with the thing for an hour.
