Guys I have a question this mod actually works on dota like normal? I mean you don't get ban or something for using them?cause I'll like to play with a hundred waifus 😂
@@halvanhelevh it replaces the textures and animations with same name files and it's only locally cosmetic to you. Meaning for others you appear the same as the set loadout slotted or the default/whatever texture your mod is on in a normal match. The ban happens if you use scripts or have visual guides that point or get an unfair advantage in the match or is otherwisenshade. But all aside modding let's have any set any sound effect that is made available by the community

@@raidelfalcon367 Specifically, Soul Calibur Yoshimitsu was the ancestors of Tekken Yoshimitsu.
Which meant that Soul Calibur and Tekken is set in the same universe, with different timeline for each games.
Havent watched that many BlitzSpanks videos but I think this is the best video I have seen from him so far.

I modded dota 2 way back in 2015. It was pretty fun and valve didn't care. I didn't play the game from 2017. 2 years ago, I tried dota again and tried modding it. The first time, it detected something and reinstalled every file. I tried it again and then they gave me a game ban. Thanks valve!

Valve going anti-mod is seriously not the way you want this to end, which is also ironic since most Valve's initial employees were actual modders.

This is going on record for the most fucking cooked dota 2 game of all time
It used to be not bannable, but Valve changed file modification rules in DOTA a while back and that ruined the unbannable version of VPK modding in DOTA.
I really miss it because I used to run with modified sounds and character models, but sadly its gone and all you can do now is to use actual cheating methods to have skin modification.
I didn't even think modding Dota was possible 😅

it's just basically swapping the models, textures and audio files with something else in the game files, you could do this with any game - actually any computer program

It was a thing since dota switched to source 2 (if I remember correctly), just mostly among russian community because the original launcher for changing skins was made by russian youtuber (but I can be wrong on this one, maybe it was made by another person).
@@pantsuhunter2718it's a Russian site, yes. Many memes and jokes there also made from local Russian community memes so you probably can't understand them. I'm actually impressed he knows gachi which is huge meme in Russian dota community although I know there are fans of it everywhere.
