In this video I turn a big piece of larch wood, that was originally intended to be firewood, into a bowl. The finished bowl has a diameter of about 45cm and is 16cm high.
Beautiful grain in that bowl. Too bad you couldn't core that blank, it looks big enough to give at least one, possibly two more blanks out of the same piece of wood. Stuart
Thank you! A coring system is still on my "want to have" list, but I'm just not doing enough of these big bowls, so it's not really worth it at the moment.
